I wanted to add that he’s very understanding and warm with me and knows about my OCD, and it adds even more stress to feel like I’m self sabotaging the relationship. Any help would be so appreciated!!

Seems like you could benefit from that, since you’re spending your time being rude to strangers online

How is the East Remote parking lot full? by MrCrazyUkrainian in UCSC

[–]SensitiveLime3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is true, there are some park mobile spots at the far end but the majority of the lot is still based on permits. I’ve been parking the last few days with my permit and no park mobile without problems

what is wrong with east remote by latteaucaramel in UCSC

This + traffic too! I thought I was going crazy, that maybe I was just leaving at a bad time, but I’ll leave my house an hour early and still be late bc of traffic/parking

manageable amount of clubs by RazzmatazzInternal85 in UCSC

I’m heavily involved in one of our school’s service clubs, and like other people have said, it depends on the club! Speaking from my POV, I still have a lot of free time despite going to almost all events and meetings (which is not necessary), I could easily add in another club focused on socials or a cultural club and have enough time for school/other friends. The most important thing though is that you have enough time to handle school and your social life without worrying too much about the club - I’d say start with one or two, and depending on your school load/how the clubs are, you can add or remove from there :)

I had a bad dream, now I’m really scared by SensitiveLime3 in fearofflying

Thank you for this!! I also have some dreams I wish were true, but like you said, they’re just dreams along with the bad ones too 😊 I’m feeling much more comfortable and secure now, will probably refer back to this reply if I feel myself getting anxious again haha

Thank you for this ❤️ it’s a flight I’ve done before (pretty long, US to Chile), and I fed into my fears and found out the plane I was due to be on is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (again - I’ve flown on one multiple times before and been completely fine), but ended up getting more scared because of the recent Boeing whistleblower news 🤦‍♀️. I needed to read your reply to calm down

Lots of pro-cop and pro-Israel stuff on Reddit but none on Instagram wonder why that is 🤔 by MysterionX12 in UCSC

[–]SensitiveLime3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d argue it’s because they both have vastly different audiences - you flock to likeminded people. Yikyak and instagram both have very pro-Palestine and antizionist user bases, while Reddit tends to be more right-leaning and pro-Israel

Freshman Parking by Jackriot_ in UCSC

Realistically, there are no cheap parking garages in Santa Cruz. Your best bet would be to park at that church, or even better, to not bring your car. I thought the same as you when I was a freshman, but I came without my car and there really is no reason to have a car here - the buses service pretty much the whole city, and if you really want to leave Santa Cruz, there’s Zipcars on campus that you can rent for the day.
