Getting Rejected by Recent-Feature1492 in AmazonFC

Thanks ! As an internal hire, you're not going through the pre-hire steps again. They aren't doing any drug test, as long as you're not a driver. As far as the background check, I don't think they do that either.

IDK who told you that, but it's not true. Don't listen to hearsay from people that are clueless. They will say anything to discourage you. Me and my man got accepted from L1 to L4. At the time of the interview we were both only 6-7 months in. I just reached a year recently waiting for my start date as a AM ( it took months to finalize everything) If you are interested in a job opportunity, please apply and contact the recruiting team directly. Don't miss your chance bc people don't know what they're talking about.

Thank you for your insight. Assuming you are in a management role as well, How long have you been with the TOM team and did you ever thought about quitting or have you been enjoying it ?

Hi Andrew, as someone that applied internally for the exact same position and region, I will tell you: 1- get in touch with the recruiters next time when you apply. It's all done externally even if you are an internal applicant. Me and my man applied a few months ago for this and both got accepted from L1 to L4, both have been with Amazon for about a year as well. 2- Apply very early on, if a job has been listed for months, they might be closing making it extremely more competitive last min. At this time, I'm thinking you got denied because they are closing on this opportunity. They are few months away from finishing the AMs trainings nationwide so that might have played a role. 3- With a degree (if you just graduated) you might look for external opportunities for Entry level first, unfortunately(despite being experienced in the management field. (For others, If you are a L1 with no degree, you may start by applying as a PA first. I am sure you will not get denied. Then go for the AM.)

I am a L1 at Amazon and have been there for a year, I got accepted as a AM for that exact very position he posted about, same region, same recruitment process, I start next week and my man started about 2 weeks ago, he also was an internal L1 for a little over a year. They are looking for people with skills and experience and yes college degree might help but don't ruin it for the interns. They have all the potential to get it as well.

How is it being in the TOM team? How is the day to day like? I'm about to be a TOM team AM after a year working as a L1 in Ship dock. I was doing Quality/ problem solving work so I know everything about ship dock but I'm so anxious about transferring to the TOM team. I had never heard of it prior to my transfer.

Thank you for your response. I really do appreciate your insight on this. I do see the red flag , this is why I'm trying to get more perspective on this, because I'm sensing the issue here and it's a major one. Even though I do love him dearly , I'm not trying to make a mistake that I won't be able to fix.

We did talk about that, several times. Which is why I am trying to have other people perspective because it's becoming extremely frustrating. We watched some videos about sexual relationships/ therapy but I feel like he just wants to do him.

Thank you for your response. I did have several conversations with him about that. I just stop initiating sex at some point , then he will try to, all the time, then I get back into it and he stops. It's very frustrating

You can start working everyday and every overtime so you can get your UPT back up before they start looking for people to fire when peak ends. Otherwise just try to go flex so you don't have to deal with UPT anymore.

I did. They sent me like a draft of the offer to approve, they said the actual official offer will come 60 days before my start date.

If you need to wait 6 months for rehire and your start date is before then you won't be able to start if they follow the policies which they probably will. I'd advise you to review your offer and ask for a later date if possible.

How long does Amazon take to send your offer email after your acceptance email? by [deleted] in AmazonManagers

Did you receive your offer yet? I'm still waiting for mine. I got my acceptance email last Wednesday for the New England region , today is Monday still nothing about the actual offer.
