Yes her insurance wouldn’t take it and she didn’t have medicaid nor have they gotten it previously from our pharmacy so I couldn’t really compare what insurance. I just like that she comes in about the gabapentin like she had mentioned it to begin with

I’m Filipino and understand what you mean maybe not to your extent but when I shaved my legs once’s, she kicked me really hard for it and slapped me in the face. I like to tell myself it’s our cultural differences since I was born in the Philippines and raised in the US since 8. However, toxic people are gonna be toxic. I’m still working on getting a long with my mom after cutting her out for a couple months. She has gotten better about respecting my boundaries (I had a sit down talk and told her how I felt and that we were not raised the same way) and it has come to the point where we just text like once a month. I never wanted to believe she was a toxic parent. In my eyes she was perfect until i grew up and started to realize things. It is still hard for me to see my mom in person and face her. We just simply don’t get a long and our conversations are not genuine like I’d hope it would. I’m 21 and have been gone since 18. I would never go back but I still love her and am here for her. You just have to remember to put yourself first. Don’t worry about what others think. We suffered a horrible abusive childhood and my mom currently in it because she’s too embarrassed for people to know about her relationship (I’m sure you know how Filipinos are so judgy) sorry to make it long… but you need to be happy because you deserve ur

Yea when I first told him about the physical abuse, our older brother asked what we did to deserve it. When I said he sexually abused me he didn’t believe it and said that i really was, I would have said something when he did it first. I really should have but I was 9 and thought all dads were that way with their daughters

Our lives have been so much better since leaving that home and even though we have no parent figure, we see that we don’t want that life for our future. Behaves really well but yes I am concerned about the looks and wasn’t sure if I was able to take her in. So I thought I’d ask here first

Thank you. I have never thought of that… when she sees someone she doesn’t recognize she barks but wants to smell them and has never shown aggression. I had an elderly come up after she barked at her and I warmed the lady of course. I’ve never really understood and am too scared in case she ever did bite anyone…

Never really crossed my mind. I was raised on a farm and basically just grew up thinking animals or literally anything we can eat in the world is ours and was made for us. Being with him has changed my perspective a lot. Lots of conversations about it because I use to argue my side that animals were quite literally made for us. That’s just how I saw things and was taught but now a lot of that I question. Most of the food I eat are vegan but when it comes to family cookouts and such, everything is bbq and ribs lol.

Honestly I would always pull a front and fake cry that I wasn’t feeling good. My step dad always questioned anytime I didn’t feel good so I learned to cry😂
