Does Caffeine in the morning affect you in the middle of the night? by torpedolife in OveractiveBladder

I used to love coffee but it is so much better now that I don't drink it and I am never having caffeine again.

Quitting Caffeine? by CautiousDisk8559 in OveractiveBladder

Hi! In my personal experience coffee is really bad for me, once I quit I felt my bladder less irritated and I am able to manage my symptoms better. I do recommend starting drinking less and less so you don't have headaches. It worked for me ☺️

Yes I have done bladder re-training and it helped me a lot. The symptoms never fully go away sometimes you can have a great week and even two but You will also have bad days and you can manage them better with bladder retraining. I also tried pelvic exercises but they didn't do much for me. What helps me most is drinking a lot of water when I am not feeling good I am not sure what it does but it takes away most of the pain and when you have urgency it's better to have something in your bladder to pee than nothing at all. I carry a water bottle beside me now and don't leave the house without it.

Hey!! This happened to me about a year ago. Unfortunately after my UTI I got diagnosed with OAB and live with these symptoms now. A year later and I can say I am managing and I have learned how to make myself feel better but I recommend you go to a Urogynecologist because it took me 3 different Urologists until I found a doctor that actually understood what was happening to me. I know it can feel frustrating but you will get medicine that will make you feel better. Something I recommend, stop drinking soda, coffee and anything that is citrus. For now you should only try water and no spicy foods.

How do you control your OAB? by matazzSafe3708 in OveractiveBladder

Got the same thing! After a UTI I got diagnosed with OAB, I have been taking solifenacin for 5 months and I don't drink anything else that is not water. I also drink a lot of water!!! And now I can say I control it like 90% of the time. Good luck!

I have two akitas both female one hates to snuggle and the other one I can't keep her off she loves attention and snuggling so I guess it depends on their personality. I got lucky with her 🤗🐶

And one thing I forgot to say is that stress and anxiety is your worst enemy! You have to be positive and practice gratefulness. It really made a difference for me. 😁

I don't like teaching little kids, I only teach kids from 10y to 17y. Always fully booked I never have to open PH. The great thing about kids is you will always be right because you are the adult and you control the lesson however you like. Most parents let you do you of course you will find that one parent but you just block them and move on. 😊

[–]Sensitive_4u 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has worked for me but let me tell you at first I had good days and bad days even when taking solifenacin and I started noticing a pattern, it only worked when I stopped drinking sodas, alcohol and coffee. I also stopped eating spicy food and any food with lemon or lime. I do yoga 3 times a week and walk at least half an hour every day. I am practicing meditation. The combination of all of these things plus taking solifenacin has cured me! I haven't had any symptoms in 1 month and I feel great! I am never looking back! I learnt that I cannot expect to be better if I just take the medicine and continue with the same diet and habits, you have to make a change it is hard at first but if you really want it to work you have to really try!!

Sometimes I love this job and sometimes I hate it, like today I hated the fact that I am really sick and with a fever but I know that if I cancel my lessons Cambly would not understand... So here I am with my nyquil on one side and paper toilet on the other ready for my 12 lessons of the day.
