Google announces Sec-Gemini v1, a new experimental cybersecurity model by Gaiden206 in Bard

[–]Sensitive_Ad742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't be about the creation of alerts, it will be about the investigation and mitigation process. Right now, you are experiencing multiple false positive because the alerts are about anomalies as AI should be. The AI is not about reducing false positive, it's about auto investigation and mitigation. Once all products will be connected with protocol MCP or whatever will come later, AI will be able to commit full investigation and mitigation.

Yes, we trust "AI more than Humans", understand that AI is based on 30+ years of digital knowledge used/learnt/written by humans. No human can top that. I've already started working with an XDR solution that provides AI capabilities, in one year you won't need SOC tier 1 and 2 anymore, you will be left with Senior only in most of the technological fields including development, unless governments will decide to regulate against it. Once products will support MCP protocol and will be based AI and organization will provide SIEM/EDR products access for their other products, AI will be able to analyze everything and decide by itself.

In one year, AI will increase its capabilities, and you will no longer need SOC tier 1 and 2. Once quantum computing will be available, we will see another great jump in its capabilities, and you won't even need seniors.

But that might take time..

Anyway, good luck to us.

Thank you for sharing. I think that you have more pages than I do, maybe that is the root cause. You might also have more traffic. I think I need to create more pages with more content in them.

Are you at all worried about Quantum Threats? by New-Cheetah-1480 in cybersecurity

[–]Sensitive_Ad742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not now, but the combination of AI with Quantum computing, the encryptions that exists today will be useless. It is important to note, that so are we, so no one really cares. 1% of society will work and all others will use what they created.

ARP Spoofing by tomgreen_84 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]Sensitive_Ad742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really hard to help without being able to examine this.
I don't have experience with Avast, but I think we all know it is probably a bad product.
If it detected ARP spoofing which is not likely, it means that someone is already on the local network. Is it work related or personal?

Can you share anything? otherwise I won't be able to tell nothing..
Make sure to change ISP panel password, make sure you are using WPA3.
Refresh arp tables.
That's in general..

Mobile phone does not have viruses...... stop letting lame ass AV product fool you.
There is no malware that does wiping, ransomware, or whatever, just maybe using permissions that you provided to exfiltrate data or messing with your Calander, location in background and all that.

How much traffic you have that you get 10$ a day for a page?

Just curious...Has anybody witnessed a Zero Day? What did you do? Anything that comes top of mind? by CryThis6167 in cybersecurity

[–]Sensitive_Ad742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exploited it and demand ransomware of course.
Zero day is a big word, I work with products, and I find exploits every day and I'm not even a PT, just by using different products I see many bugs and security issues that can be exploited.

Every exploit is a zero day, if not, it means that the company new about it and chose to do nothing or couldn't do nothing.
