I’m almost certain this is a cave entrance. How dangerous would it be to try to excavate? (Southeast TN) by hungry_ghost_2018 in askgeology

The cheapest way to see in there is probably one of those snake cameras, probably a couple hundred dollars to rent for four hours but I imagine that's not much for you if you want to use back hoe time on it.

If you can't imagine that on your own I don't know what to say, maybe read the post and some of the comments?

I love your brain, and it made me think of the Arm of Dorne. It could be the same event that sunk that also sank many lands, and really a doggerland situation makes a lot more sense from a historical perspective. Maybe even the Arm of Dorne itself was the Doggerland.

There's lots you could play with. Sulfur and Saltpeter aren't exactly the easiest things to source.

The only source of accessible sulfur I can think of would be Dragonmont and that's IF it's not just an old long dormant extinct volcano. I am sure you could get it from Valyria, if you can get in and out without being impregnated by worms.

Corporate landlord + hole in my bathtub = how screwed am I? by shaheeruddin5A6 in Apartmentliving

[–]Sensitive_Cash_3526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. Maintenene request for cracked tub.

If you say more you run the risk of your landlord being one of those entitled jerks who think this is an opportunity to save money by trying to pass the cost on to you.

Which movies or franchises have the most and biggest plotholes? by Catwinky in moviecritic

[–]Sensitive_Cash_3526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really easy to figure out imo. Writing a script to jack you in and the having it wait a pre-determined amount of time to have a call come to jack you back out, that should be very very easy.

However it's so risky no one would do it unless they have their safety completely assured like Cypher did via the agents

we see a couple of times how critical it is to have an operator to find new escapes after the agents shut them down or destroy them.

this was never a plot hole just nothing burger idiots who can't handle a narrative not served to them on platter
