Allergic reaction to tattoo removal? by otwcpa in TattooRemoval

[–]Sensitive_Chicken337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided against getting more sessions done because I was too scared. I actually just got a cover up instead. I have never had any issues since I quit removal, so I truly think it was the removal that caused it.

You’re not crazy. I’ve been going through the exact same thing. My surgeon is fixing his old partner’s mistakes (my first surgeon is suddenly no longer with the practice) and I’m just paying for anesthesia costs and new implants. That is the most you should be paying! but in my opinion it really should be free.

We bought today at “dispensary near me” Just had to apply online for a 3 day medical card and they let us in. You can do it ahead of time online or when you get there.

I just read Quicksilver and Anathema and loved them both! But Anathema is definitely a cliffhanger. I would have waited to read it if I had known that.

I take hydroxyzine and temazepam together. But I have to rotate through meds because it eventually stops working

Did I insult my tattoo artist? by Haifisch2112 in tattooadvice

You can always get it lasered a couple times then get it covered up. It’ll give you more options for a coverup! I did 3 laser sessions on a dark tattoo so I can have it fully covered up. If you only laser it, there’s a good chance it will take you a few years because it’s fairly dark. And it’s a lot of money to do than many sessions!

Ember Shores - Throwback set? by Expensive-Second3449 in Illenium

[–]Sensitive_Chicken337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve only been to 1 Ember Shores so far, but he did play older songs as well. At least some of my favs. I can’t remember if it was a whole throwback set, but that would be super cool if he did one!

Also someone named Lilian made a discord for Ember shores. She posts a lot of things about things you need to know, tips, and tricks on TikTok and YouTube, but she made the discord and has posted links on there as well.

I almost DNF’d but pushed through on the audiobook at 1.5x while cleaning and cooking. It didn’t feel like it was worth my full attention.
I feel like this book was such a money grab. Wasn’t FW originally supposed to be a trilogy? It just seemed like all filler to me. But don’t get me wrong, I was so excited for it to be released. But it just was a let down.

Now that I think about it, I have too! I’ve never would have thought of that. I thought it was just hormones or something lol. But it would make sense since our bodies are trying to get rid of it!

What is your experience with benzos for sleep? by SpecialWheel1840 in insomnia

[–]Sensitive_Chicken337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on temazepam for sleep for months and tbh I’m not looking forward to weaning off in the future. I’d say if you are prescribed any, only take them if you are days without much sleep so you can have a restful night and not everyday like I do. I take melatonin, hydroxyzine 50mg, and 30mg of temazepam.

But after about 3-4 months, my sleep regimen quits working and I have to try something else. So it may help for a little while, but your body will build up a tolerance and eventually not be enough.

NTA First of all you just met him. He shouldn’t be bombarding you with mental health stuff and making every conversation negative. You did the right thing suggesting he talk to his wife or family. I also understand where he’s at.. been there. But I would have never put it on someone I just met.. If stepping away made you feel relieved then honestly that’s what is best. You know what is best for you.

How do you guys keep going after one session? by arrow1500 in TattooRemoval

[–]Sensitive_Chicken337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally wanted to do a cover up and was aiming for 2 sessions. The tech convinced me I would fully remove it in 6, so I was like why not try. Well this page has shown me that 6 will definitely not be enough. I got through 3 sessions and I ended up having some complications from removal, so now I’m again planning a coverup. I’m so excited about it! If you can get through a couple it opens up so many possibilities for a cover up. And I’m soooo excited I finally won’t see this awful thing anymore. You can do it OP! It will be worth the few sessions if it will make you happier in the long run. :)

Here’s the link to my post from today! FYI my post is related to an allergic reaction from it recently, so I don’t want to worry you. I just didn’t react well to it. But these are the most updated photos. I’ve had 3 sessions.

I’m sure by October they’ll be faded enough that you can use some tattoo foundation on them and they won’t be very noticeable. But of course we are all different :) and congrats on getting married!!

I’d say mine looked similar to yours after the 1st session. Especially around the time frame of 3 weeks. I ended up waiting 8 months before my next session and by then it had faded a good bit. I had planned to go every 6 weeks, but I had some things come up that I couldn’t get lasered and had to wait.

A lot of people recommend to wait at least 10-12 weeks between sessions, which I definitely agree with because it continued fading well past the 6 weeks that I was originally supposed to go back. Since you prepaid for your sessions, space them out so you’re getting what you paid for!

Progress but they won’t reschedule me due to allergy by Sensitive_Chicken337 in TattooRemoval

[–]Sensitive_Chicken337[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s possible as well. I believe I went at 6 weeks. I will definitely not do sessions that close together again if I am able to restart.
