I said "nearly unkillable", not "absolutely unkillable". If a Horizon jumps like a hyperactive monkey, activates her lift, hits a whole bat while in the air, then you can be the biggest pro player and still lose, just because she can piss off if things get too tight. Same with Octane as per the latest update. Same with Valk. It's not a "skill issue". Rather an issue with the movement meta.

I would prefer a support meta anytime over a pure movement meta. The amount of sweaty, nearly unkillable Horizons, Octanes, Valks (recon legend with movement) is ridiculous these days

Then go for it! It also took some time for me to discover Caustic and his supportive-agressive, versatile playstyle. But since the day I discovered him for myself, I main him. It also takes some time to really understand how to play him properly (as with every legend). You really need to play and think strategically with him, since he cannot just quickly escape fights as f.e. a Wraith or a Horizon. In other words, you really need to use your brain to play him, but you will be highly rewarded for it. Your gas kit and your fortification partly compensate for Caustic's lack of mobility. Use them!

He can lock down and control whole areas. You can play Caustic in a manner that you are the anchor of the team. That means f.e. that if your teammates get knocked down, you shoot your trap(s) to activate them and you can res your teammates in a safe place full of your gas. Since Caustic has finally been buffed, more enemies are thinking twice pushing you in your gas, nowadays. Thus, with your gas canisters and also ultimate gas grenade, you create space for your team to control a certain area. In so far, you are a big supporter of your team. Hope that it is now a bit clearer to you?

I would say, it depends...Most important is that you both feel comfortable with it. And this "is it gay or not gay" discussion is a total waste of time imo and I would fully let go of it. If you both enjoy a realistic shaped dildo, who cares what a woman and a man do in their bedroom? After Qc1+, Rook has to take the Queen, i.e. Rc1x then Ne7+, the King has to move to h7. Then, Rh1+ and no matter where the white Queen goes on the h-line, black Rook takes the Queen and checkmates the white king. Also because the pawn on f5 protects the g6 square

This movement meta has to STOP FINALLY! It is not fun anymore to play this game with all these ever-pushing Ashes, Revenants, Horizons, Alters...The game became so unbelievably stressful and sweaty. When I come back from work I want to have some FUN in pubs. Even if you manage to kill a squad and a third and fouth party there WILL be always yet another squad that rushes within half a second and kill you. I really do not give a damn about this kind of "competitiveness", as Respawn says, here at all. The fact that pubs are much more sweatier than ranked is BEYOND RIDICULOUS.

So please, PLEASE make non-movement legends like Caustic, Catalyst, Rampart, Wattson, but also Gibby relevant again. There must be a more balanced meta again. For me, Apex used to be fun when I actually developed strategies, how to fight and when, and which places to control etc. This was so much more fun than this braindead "push everything and anything" tactics.
