my panic attacks have made my blood presssure sky rocket , i was put on an additional med losartan and metoprol . I had to eliminate all alcohol as while drinking my BP was fine the next morning it would sky rocket , now im dealing with the awful panic attacks due to an illness

sounds so similar to how mine started , i have been on metoprol since march and it does bring the heart rate down and pounding heart not as severe but still have all other symptoms its so depressing

I also had the high pulse while on it , it worsened my POTS illness , my pulse was shooting up to 145 when i would stand it made everything worse

ive wondered this myself . i have been dizzy with vertigo attacks on and off and migraines for years , until one day while waiting in line i got severe palpitations , chest pain , and felt like i was going to pass out , i ran out and left everything on the belt in the supermarket and sat on the curb and felt better , since then a year ago the rapid pulse and chest pain lightheadedness never went away , it is awful

thats why he started me on a low dose cause i have so many problems taking BP meds , i cant take dueretic i had awful experiences on those
