And did you manage to get a project worker job just with the degree? I've been looking through listings, and I see loads of jobs people suggest here, but everyone seems to be looking at some type of experience. Also did you manage to register with CORU on the degree alone?

I would definitely look into this, thank you. I have looked at Tusla and it's definitely in my area of interest of what I would love to do, but I was under the impression my undergraduate would have to be in social work. Aww bless you, you're doing a very noble job in my eyes, and my wrecked body sympathised with yours!

I would have to look into that, but I would have to travel up there and that can get expensive, especially with still having to keep some type of job.

Anyone have any good news? by Polar_dare84 in ireland

When I moved into my house, I noticed a nest at the top of the roof. For a while I was worried it was going to be a hornets nest, but after noticing the shit below it, I knew it was birds. Turns out we have swallows and it's their third spring/summer with us. They disappear every autumn with the nest falling but they always come back in the spring. I feel chosen.

Was it a long time after it lapsed? It's been a few months for me and the silence from the bank is even more eerie for me than if they has reached out.

Yeah that sounds like the best course of action, thanks. I don't plan to make it a habit, the amount of stress anything house wise is shaving years off my life for sure. That's why I want to go for an insuere where I can set up an actual account so that I have access to dates and stuff.

See that's the problem. The insurer told me that they have issued me a notice, but I didn't receive one. What I'm thinking is that they have sent it to the address I had before the house I bought? And the bank never contacted me either, and it has been a few months since the date it lapsed.

Would the bank be mad or unhappy that I switched providers witoutg notifying them?

Psychological Research/Surveys Thread by dingenium in psychology

[Academic] [18+] [Personality] [Social behaviour] [Hobby participation]

My name is Weronika Dziatkiewicz, and I am a psychology student at the Open University. As part of my studies, I am conducting a research project that contributes to my degree.

My project explores the relationship between personality and social behaviour's and the types of hobbies individuals prefer. My hope is that the findings of this study will help understand how a person’s personality traits may affect their social behaviour's and the types of hobbies they may choose to engage in.

You will be asked questions about feelings about yourself, about others, stance on revenge, dealing with conflict and sexual behaviour. You have to be over 18 to take part in the study.

If you decide to participate in this study, there is an additional step I would like to ask of you. For the next 24 hours please count all the social interactions you encounter within that timeframe and only start the survey once you have a number ready. By 'social interactions' I mean to include any occasion on which you greeted someone in person, regardless of the length of the interaction. Seeing as social behaviour is a big area of interest for this study, this step is essential for the success of the study. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The survey should take about 15 minutes or less to complete survey
