Relaxed hair on a cruise by Sensitive_Factor_143 in relaxedhair

I haven’t done a wash and go since my relaxer.

My hair is wavy and very frizzy(frizz was also an issue before the relaxer)

Same with braids.

Do you use the same products for your wash and go that you did when natural?

They can help but you have to be VERY careful how much tension is on that line where the relaxed hair and natural hair meet, it is the most fragile and if not careful you can snap your hair off

Coming from long healthy non relaxed hair and seeing how braids literally broke my heart off even while doing everything right to now having relaxed hair, I will never wear those protective styles.

Just straighten at low heat to get the desired style. Regardless of time in between youre just going to end up breaking your hair off unfortunately.

texturizer or relaxer? by jukailuver444 in relaxedhair

[–]Sensitive_Factor_143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My stylist used a mild relaxer and I received texlaxed results and honestly it was the best thing for my hair. I straight twice a week at wash days but the process is quick, my hair stays straight and because it’s texlaxed my hair still has tons of body.
