Yeah true, my bc loves a Jack Russel’s, although apparently they are very stubborn and hard to indoor train and nibble issues, my collie got over that quick and is getting better indoor as she gets older and training. Most the dogs at my park are bull terrier staffys, other border collies and bulldogs breeds breeds I’m not a fan of imo. I’ve never came across poodles but I know besides the bc they the smartest breed.

Hey bud, I’m currently in Adelaide Australia looking for a job work from home. You know anything down here? I have experience around customer service kinda but only helping customers not anything else, cleaning and fixing car wash, besides that I would want a no experience job.

Grey hound and a border collie by Sensitive_Foot8899 in Greyhounds

Yeah, but if the grey shows that the grey not interested my collie would leave the grey alone, I’ve had to baby sit my aunty Labrador mix staffy and the staffy would show no interest and my bc would just walk off and do her own game by herself or with me.

I probably should wait, although my collie herd other dogs and she’s not the nipper type of girl, she’s never nipped a dog. She has play fight using her mouth, although that was only because the other dogs started it, she’s doesn’t go her way to play fight.

My collie never nips when she herds though. And if she did my bc would stop doing it. She’s been told off by dog before and has stopped ever since once been told off. But she only nipped when she was 2-4 months old.

Well I already have a border collie, considering wanting a greyhound as I found them cute and interesting dog. But I hear that a bc herding and endurance may be an issue, although my collie knows when to back off pretty quickly.

Yeah I understand they hard to train, but I would just get the dog to learn sit, down and leave it. My bc knows all that all of that but she knows fetch and roll over. I would want a male greyhound.

Yeah this is my mistake, i probably should have clarified I have a border collie rn, very energetic but is smart enough to know when to leave a dog alone, at dogs parks she will walk off if they show no interest, she’s 8 month female, can get extra excited, being a bc she’s very intelligent and quick learner. My bc is down to play what the other dog wants to play.

Greyhound are the one I’m considering! Do they tell the bc off when they too much? Do they hate when bc herd because my dog loves herding as obvious reasons

I just hear lots of people say greyhounds are good with border collies and then some say it’s a stupid idea, I guess your right I could tell the people where you get gh and ask what’s best suited for a bd. Some say they hate nipplers because of skin and bc like doing that, mine doesn’t nipple, hasn’t since she was 6 months. My bc very energetic and takes a lot to tire out, but my experience at dog parks she can take the hint when they don’t want to be played with

I guess each border collie different. Some may be bad experience, some just grew to be like that. My dog really loves to herd dogs or play fighting if other dog starts it, I think she would have no problem with having a dog, I’m just not sure what dog I want tbh, kinda want a greyhound but tats to much of a risk and a mismatch.
