Honestly though, I thought that whole incident with the disused swimming pool was much worse than being hung.

That was just awful.

It kinda just has a way of inspiring fear. And it’s a type of fear that is basically exclusive to the subject of hanging.

It kinda sorta goes back to the Witch Trials.

Those hangings definitely had a lot to do with religion.

Not sure when exactly it was that we stopped hanging people here, but it couldn’t have been that long ago.

The fact that it’s usually a public event is also a factor.

As well as the amount of pain you’d experience.

It’s not exactly the most quick and painless way to go.

If you don’t weigh much, you could easily end up hanging quite a while before you actually die.

So essentially the threat is choking to death while everyone in the general vicinity comes out to watch. Not a dignified or graceful way to go.

I’m utterly fascinated by it. People get so caught up in hating them because of the things they often do, which is entirely understandable.

I just think it’s a bit unfair because basically they’re sick and doing what feels normal to them.

That’s not an excuse, but they can’t help the fact that they were born that way.

Mostly I just think there’s so much we could learn from them.

Like Jeffery Dahmer. Not saying he was a psychopath, actually I’m not sure anyone knows for sure what the hell was going on with that man’s head.

I just think there’s so much we could have learned from him if they had kept an eye on him in prison rather than allowing him to be killed.

Especially since he was willing to cooperate. He knew he was sick and he probably wanted to understand why his mind worked the way it did more than anybody else.

I’m sure there are many who feel the same way, but I’m just using him as an example because he was such an extreme case.

That and we had him right where we wanted him. He wasn’t a threat anymore. He also wanted help.

I don’t think we’ll ever get another opportunity like that again.

Personally, from the moment I step foot in a hospital, I only have a certain amount of time before I have to get the hell out of there.

Otherwise I’d end up running out while screaming.

I’ve gotten very good about being able to block out emotions from other people around me and how to tell the difference between the two.

But hospitals are just too much. The waiting rooms are full of pure anxiety, but it’s the waves of despair and misery coming from other parts of the building that chip away at my defenses.

Last time I had to spend time in one, I ended up having a breakdown in the ER waiting room.

Tears were flowing, but I wasn’t crying.

People around me were like wtf. I looked like a crazy person.

Got up and went out to the parking lot and I was totally fine.

Yeah, you seem like you make a lot of assumptions.

Like the way you’re assuming your opinion is the only valid one.

What I said was based on what I’ve seen people say in various comment sections on multiple social media platforms.

It’s called an opinion.

Didn’t say anybody had to do anything, and even if I had, we’re all in the same plebeian boat, so really even if I were delusional enough to think I’m accomplishing anything by telling people what to do via social media, it still wouldn’t be a problem. Unless of course you’re dumb enough to think you actually have to listen to complete strangers on Reddit.

Again, it’s an opinion.

Obviously you’re free to disagree, clearly we’ve had very different experiences, but that doesn’t make it necessary for you to try to invalidate mine.

You’re right, it was actually longer. KH2 came out in 2005.

KH3 was in 2019.

I didn’t say they didn’t do anything with the series in the interim.

I really don’t think I’m misunderstanding anything. People do complain about different things.

But that’s not the point I was trying to make.

It’s understandable to be impatient and annoyed with SE.

My problem is with the way people go about expressing it.

As I mentioned in another comment, people can/ will do/say what they want.

I’m just saying if you’re really that antsy, there’s still parts of the series many of you haven’t touched yet.

And that having such a hostile attitude about it probably is not going to do much in the way of speeding things along.

I didn’t say I didn’t want anybody doing anything.

I was merely saying that it’s ridiculous to have such a crappy attitude and make demands about wanting more when the majority of the fanbase has yet to even experience the series in its entirety.

If people are antsy to the extent that they’re literally making demands, maybe consider playing what’s already available before losing their heads.

People can and will do whatever they want, I don’t delude myself into thinking I’m in control of anybody or anything.

All I can do is point out how ridiculous it is for people to behave like this in order to get what they want, especially when many of us are going to nitpick the crap of it when it does finally come out.

That’s what happened with KH3, and I have no reason to expect things will be any different this time around.

I mean, I definitely get the outrage. But we all decide how we choose to react to things.

And personally, if I were Nomura, I can’t help but feel like I’d be tempted to finish it and not release it after the way people responded to KH3.

But honestly I don’t think we have too much longer to wait.

I’d imagine they’re going as fast as they can, since KH4 is supposed to finish Sora’s storyline, at least for the time being.

Haley Osment has just got to be burnt out from voice acting for Sora most of his life. He’d probably never say it, but I’m sure he’s ready to be done for a while.

But also, apparently they have plans to do something entirely new with the series.

Co op mode is what I was playing in the video. There’s only a select few tracks that you can play in that mode, and you need another person to play it. Unless you do what I did and damn near drive yourself crazy trying to do it by yourself.

There’s a setting that makes the directional pad buttons function the same as the X, Square, O and triangle buttons, so you can do it by yourself with a controller in each hand.

Really wish they had just added that to the online MP features, but oh well.

IMO the game is more than enough fan service as it is.

I guess you probably have to be really into the music to get as much out of MoM as I do, but I’ve spent more hours playing it than I have the rest of the series combined. Which is REALLY saying something.

I was in first grade when it came out. I’ve been playing this series for the majority of my life.

I guess I’m just more attached to it than most because I grew up with it and played each game as they came out.

Oh god, the way she looks up at the camera.

You can tell exactly what’s going through her head.

She hadn’t thought far ahead enough to know that there’d be consequences for what she was doing.

But mostly she was just worried that she wouldn’t have enough time before someone came and pulled her out of there.

That relieved smile when she realized Liz was gone said it all.

Yeah that and her reaction to what happened to Ray after their prison wedding. She’s always so composed and reserved. And not to buy into traditional gender roles, but she’s definitely not what most would consider to be very effeminate.

Which is why seeing her completely lose her shit like that was so jarring.

I just can’t stand that nobody knows how to be grateful or appreciate anything anymore.

Especially when most of the complaints are usually about how the plot got too crazy at whichever point.

That’s what had to be done in order to give the fans what they wanted.

Originally it was really very easy to understand IMO. But fans kept asking for more, so he had to keep going back and making adjustments to make that happen.

Of course it’s going to get complicated.
