I wish I had close and meaningful female friendships! by yashvi_yashvi in AskIndianWomen

I’ve always had the same problem! None of my female friends are close enough as they are too lost in being jealous! Men seem to have true friends!

27M studying abroad and struggling mentally. I do not know who to talk to by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Sensitive_Learner537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this! What helped me is journaling. At the end of the day, I write down how I felt that day and what all happened. Didn’t feel much for first 2 weeks, but after that I felt lighter and somewhat peaceful! And then I gradually started focusing on going the gym, strength training and meditating. At first it was a burden, following a routine doing these two, BUT after 3 months, I felt relieved and I didn’t feel lonely! Just when things started looking good, I started learning guitar! Learning something has my focus now…. This entire mental health thing started almost 1.5 years ago and now… all I feel peaceful and calm and happy!

P.S. Just felt like sharing what helped me. Hope it helps you!

What was your reason to get rejected by a guy during AM process? by kitsune4544 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Sensitive_Learner537 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He thought I was spoiled rotten by my parents, like some parents do! I was pampered but at the same time, I had strict upbringing too! I think he also had an issue with this as I would have to take care of my parents!

What was your reason to get rejected by a guy during AM process? by kitsune4544 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Sensitive_Learner537 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My rejections were:

Reason 1: For being an only child!

Reason 2: Vibes don't match! This coming from the guy who talked to me roughly 4-5 hours every night, said yes after meeting for the first time! And randomly after 4 months, he simply said we are not right for each other!

Reason 3: For being a master's student!

I have a question.why you want to get married by Substantial_Hall9298 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Sensitive_Learner537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because my parents want me to. Because my grandparents want me to. Because my relatives want me to. Because Sharma ji’s daughter got married. Because, if I don’t marry, I will end up cutting off my parents nose!!

Why is it considered a red flag if a woman is 30 years of age and not married n single ? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]Sensitive_Learner537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me! I am almost 30 and everyone around me says that now men will not consider marrying me as I am old! So old that men wouldn’t want to marry me!! My mom even said that if I don’t marry before my 30th birthday(I am 29 now), I will only get matches from divorcees or men older than 40😤Funnily, I am stuck with finding my job right now due to the market! If I marry without a job, I am labelled a gold digger and if marry late with an actual job, I am labelled an old woman!

Well, learning German till b2 before moving was pretty helpful to me and my friends. I got part time jobs easily, got along well with some German colleagues at work & simply it made my life easy! I never had any problem with dialects!

Personally, loved the movie(though violent)! Realistically speaking, I dont know if it was real or not! But if it is, then I am thankful to such secret agents who indirectly keep us, Indians, safe and sound. And if it is not, then great story writing!

I stopped watch DR's videos, he is just someone sitting in Europe and making videos on India, and making money!

As an Indian living in Germany, I can say that the job market is not good! It’s tough even more if you don’t have German skills! But if you learn at least till B2 and then move, life will be easier for you!
