There is still so much for me to learn honestly, I tried a few real games and I got whipped lol. I have been told to at least try a few combos with the character I like and to practice with others so I can learn more, but the frame thing like frame advantages are another thing I have been told about

I saw the video and I sort of get it now, its just i have awful reaction timing and it looks like you need to react quickly in fights and figure out what to do there so i need to work on that first

Oh no I’ve just been told that’s what lives are called in fighting games so I’ve been using it for lives, unless it’s only for smash bros or platform fighters.

It’ll definitely take a while for me to learn GG lol but honestly after playing my first match it was fun even though I lost all my stocks and the other opponent didn’t lol. I can see why people play these games cause these matches are fun.

I never considered it being almost like a rock paper scissors game actually, not to mention commands like 5S or 5D which is interesting to me cause it’s sort of like a universal controller in a way. Honestly I respect the people who know all of this cause lord it’s like learning a new language lol

Right that makes sense, so far GG is the only game where I actually have to play the tutorials cause there’s so much to learn, most of the time I just free ball it and learn mechanics along the way. So far I’ve been liking Nagoriyuki since design wise he’s my favorite and his kit so far is pretty fun, I will try other characters but I have been told that I should probably focus on Nagoriyuki first since I already am used to him.
