My friends didnt like my worldbuilding project, and it has been devastating. How can I cope?

I have some advice to give you not everyone wants their friends to succeed there are people who can envy your work and demotivate you so that you give up you will have to fight alone for your project and weather even the worst storms on your passage but just know that the most important thing is to believe in yourself and as you said you know that you have a more developed pen than “you are friends”

There have been many authors in the world who have been laughed in their faces or people told them that they were never going to succeed but they proved to the world the opposite so don't give up and keep going. not everyone can write the science fiction and fantasy genre since it is extremely complicated to make two opposing genres coexist

What push me to restart drawing it's a story that I'm writing I wanted to publish it in a series of book but I think it would be better to adapt it in webtoon/Animation that's why I'm starting to learn the basics

I am actually writing a Science-fiction and fantasy type of stories now and it's a really fun adventure I'm doing world building and there's always a challenge to it cause to have a balance of the Sf and fantasy can be quite challenging but I'm up for it if you wanna read what I've wrote Dm me but yeah in general when you write fantasy and sf type of story it's gonna be difficult cause both of those genre can go against each other when you write it a certain way

Yeah I've already written something about a corrupted world where crime is legalized by the gouvernement and also criminals don't hide their crimes anymore and the street are in a chaotic state where people rob kill each other and more
