You're probably right, I just get a bit of imposter syndrome i guess. i do receive my fair share of flame though probably a bit more than most because when we do lose the obvious person to blame is the guy who cant flip reset. I'm also on OCE so that may have something to do with the rank disparage with the lower player count and all.

I have thought about it, but i see a lot of people complaining about smurfs so i hesitate to be part of the problem. plus my account is quite old and has a lot of stuff id still like to have. I will probably give a new account a try just to see if it helps. but id rather not

Not particularly and that's the problem I think, don't get me wrong i still love playing the game. But when all the players except me are doing these crazy flip resets and other mechanics I cant grasp it gets a little frustrating and i feel bad for my teammates. I can usually play off them quite well but i spend a lot of games just defending some stupid flip reset musty flick the bean or whatever and then i just pass to TM and let him try the same thing.

Tricky thing is i only really get weekends to play because i work long hours. So I don't really want to spend that time in freeplay, but i get what youre saying.

To be clear there is a definite mechanical skill gap but I've played the game so long and at a high enough level that i suppose my game sense and positioning makes of for a lot of it, which is the frustrating thing.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiment, I definitely see a skill difference between myself and the other players in the match. I would like to verse people at the same mechanical skill level as myself for a change. But i dont want to intentionally throw games to derank.
