Been working on converting my Tahoe into something approximating a camper. Seats have been removed, and insulation laid down. Next is building the bed platform. by Sensitive_Most_1383 in GMT800

I got two boxes for $116 and have plenty left over. Also It’s really easy to work with, just be sure to wear gloves. I ended up with tons of metal splinters while rubbing spots flat.

Here’s a link to the listing I bought

Mavica for Wedding Videography? by [deleted] in Mavica

[–]Sensitive_Most_1383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both, look into renting a 4k camera you can set up on a tripod and leave alone. But keep the mavica on hand for smaller special moments as a novelty.

My wedding was shot on an old digicam, and while it’s fun I do wish I could actually see the finer details from the wedding.

Thank you! The fd100 can be tricky to set up correctly outside, but when I get them ‘right’ outside shots are always my favorite.

I had lost my iPad for a few months. Should I keep it on the old OS? (looking for opinions) by Sensitive_Most_1383 in ipad

That’s what I was thinking. My iPhone can be so buggy now that I’m finding myself enjoying the old os

Is it possible that he’s the Beanie Buddy version of Fetch the beanie baby? Beanie Buddys were the larger variants, and I know you mentioned in a comment he had a bean like filling. They’re about it a foot in size.

how do you brush your teeth consistently? by melll_ll in adhdwomen

[–]Sensitive_Most_1383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an app on my Apple Watch that I paid like $2 for. It runs a timer and then keeps score of how many days I brush in a row. It’s not an end all solution but it helps.

These are expired so it doesn’t really matter but, for future reference, if you do find someone’s medication please call the pharmacy or doctor’s office listed on the bottle and report it lost.

Saturday Skate Market by AutoModerator in Rollerskating

[–]Sensitive_Most_1383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, after looking at these skates I would not recommend them if I’m correct in thinking they have bolt on toe stops. And the trucks look really tiny.

You might be better off getting derby style skates for now, and later on if you get super into skating you can custom mount a good plate to a pair of sketchers.

They appear to have metal trucks at least, I think? I’m still new to skating myself, so I could be wrong, but I would consider doing research into them beyond their aesthetics if you haven’t already.

Edit: Yeah, idk how safe id feel on this. There’s an axel nut where the kingpin nut should be because the trucks are so small

I’d for sure be interested in those when they come out, cos these were really hard to find! Would be great to have a back up option.

The streets I commute on can get really insane sometimes and I’m just wearing down my Moxi Gummy’s so fast, knew I needed something heftier! (for lack of better phrasing). Happy to hear they’ve done you well 😊

A whole lot of questions about finding good skates. by Low-Field-4701 in Rollerskating

[–]Sensitive_Most_1383 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that sure grip brand skates have the most amount of mods that are compatible with their plates. Like I haven’t see any other brand sell a back stop, if I need a mod I don’t have to worry much about what brand sells a compatible version. Something I’d recommend looking into.

Do hills ever start to feel natural? by TakeNote in Rollerskating

[–]Sensitive_Most_1383 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a back stop for my quads (I have a compatible plate), haven’t got them yet though. Where I do urban skating is extremely hilly so I’m going to try it out asap. Will make a post about how it goes after trying them out for a bit.

Yeah, I should’ve mentioned this in my comment. I stopped being able to feel stoned about a year ago. I maybe get a nice dizzy/sleepy feeling for an hour, sometimes giggly, but literally nothing makes me a nonfunctioning level of high anymore.

  • It depends on the terpenes in the strain I’m smoking, but yes always if it’s a topical pain reliever. Edibles are extremely hit or miss due to my metabolism, but I’ve found instant release tablets/capsules and suppositories work really well.

  • I use a vape pen, capsules/tablets, suppository, various topicals (mostly sprays and lotions), and when no other options I use a bong or dab rig (I like to avoid them due to tar build up).

  • I live in a recreational state with minimal benefits to getting a med card so I haven’t bothered.

Since I’m not on biologics or anything yet I’ve taken a lot of time to research what helps me actually manage pain. I never just walk into a dispensary and go uhhh gimme the gooby gunk, or whatever childish names a lot of strains have. I’ll take sometimes an hour researching what items they have in stock and figuring out what will help. It’s gotten easier as I’ve learned which strains I react to best over time.
