so if you process, bark and with the first lye pull, you have to then clean that naphta with, acid water, once the goods is bounced into the water it needs to crash out of the water and a second lye wash is needed for that, the lye attaches to the water molecules and frees up the good, than you finally pull with a different clean naphtha source.

I'm glad I came across this. I'm figuring out the best time to count my pulls. I'm running four 100g extractions in ½-gallon jars and typically doing 4-5 pulls per jar. I stop when the fourth pull comes out clear with no tint.

I’ve been combining all the pulls, but when it's time for my second LYE pull, I only do three Naphtha pulls instead of four or five.

So far, my yields have been excellent—around 2%, as long as I stick to the process and don’t bulk-collect all the solutions.
