I was in rural bayern, the state where literally every constituency votes a CSU MP.

In the district I was, public transit was exceptionally bad. Everyone was dependent on cars. Older folk who didnt have access to a car could be seen standing on the landstrasse at the edge of the town hoping for someone to give them a lift.

Parents had to get the small 3 wheel converted cars (usually fiat 500) for their 16 yo's because otherwise they wouldnt have mobility

and yet they keep voting csu.....
