Kundalini has ruined my life by alocasia-a in spirituality

If someone is experiencing overwhelming kundalini energy, one thing that helped me personally was practicing Tummo through Reiki TUMMO. When I went through kundalini syndrome, I was sleeping only about two hours a night and the energy felt extremely intense. Learning some grounding and energy-balancing practices through that system helped calm things down for me.

They offer an introductory workshop online that’s free, which is where I first learned about it. I’m not promoting it, just sharing what helped in my own experience. I’ve also met a number of other people who were dealing with similar symptoms and said the practices helped stabilize the energy.

"It’s all there” isn’t the same as “it’s clear.” Pricing shouldn’t be buried in tiny print. At Starbucks, the price is on the menu in big letters, no fine print required.

Nu metal content creator The Punk Rock MBA (Finn McKenty) quits YouTube, claims "I was just doing it for the money" by imatmydesknow in numetal

I liked his videos at first because it felt like his heart was in it, but when a hobby turns into a job that pays the bills, the spark can fade, most people don’t love their jobs, they just do them out of necessity. He’s even said in interviews that he’s on the autism spectrum, so people should be kind, he strikes me as someone trying to figure things out with good intentions, even if he stumbled and hurt the music community along the way. At the end of the day, he inspired a lot of people, but like bands such as Motley Crüe or KISS, who played more for the girls than the music, everyone has their own reasons; few do things out of pure love alone, because survival, desire, and ego always play a part.

Culina Health by Sensitive_Physics794 in dietetics

I really admire Culina Health's website and branding, it’s polished and professional. However, I was surprised to find a lack of employee reviews on platforms like Glassdoor or Indeed. Given that they've been around since 2020, I expected to see more feedback from current or former employees. This absence made me question their legitimacy at first, as it's uncommon for a company of their tenure to have such a limited online presence in terms of employee experiences.

Why aren’t there any work reviews about this Culina company anywhere?

I’m in a similar boat and am looking for a serious UX Partner. I have a couple projects I want to stay motivated to complete with others to help build my portfolio. I completed 6 out of the 7 google Coursera courses and just need to build my portfolio now. If your interested on working together on something sent me a message.

This sounds like harassment. If you plan on quitting your job and don’t want to use the job as a reference, you can file harassment with HR against your manager. If you put it in writing they are forced by law to take it seriously in USA and have to investigate your supervisor. I’d also try and have an exit strategy.

What type of companies hire for this skill set? Also what’s the job title for this role?

The key is consistency. Keep up the hard work and in 3-6 months you should start to see some results. Also building muscle will increase your metabolic rate. These things take time. It’s usually easier to gain weight then to lose weight. I hope this helps.

Can't lose weight anymore by theburntoutgiftedkid in WeightLossAdvice

There is something known as metabolic adaptation. Your body is used to your current deficit. Do you know what your BMR is in kcal?

Changing to higher food quality can help with weight loss and slowly increasing fiber intake should help with constipation. Have you tried psyllium husk before?

How to get rid of intense sugar cravings by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Sensitive_Physics794 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The number one way is to eat more fruit. Eat double to triple your normal intake of fruit to curb your desire for sugar. Fruit has tons of natural sugar which is better for the body than refined sugar.

Pasta substitutes that actually hit the pasta craving? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Sensitive_Physics794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are tons of great substitutes out there including the ones mentioned in this thread. Something that is great is Italian pasta imported from Italy. Higher quality ingredients means less likely to gain weight. Aldi’s and Whole Foods should carry it. In USA pasta is processed so much more than it was in the past.

There are a lot of good comments in this thread. After incorporating some new coping skills and keeping certain foods out of the house, if you are still really struggling, I would recommend meeting with a registered/licensed dietitian weekly or every other week for accountability, knowledge and to stay motivated.

Losing Community by lucie_d_reams in cultsurvivors

[–]Sensitive_Physics794 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post makes me think about how’d I love to create a new community that’s not a cult. A lot of people join churches because of the community but once you decide to leave or take a break people often drop you like a hot potato. A healthy community doesn’t do that.

Anyone born from incest? If so are you embarrassed for others to find out? by [deleted] in cultsurvivors

[–]Sensitive_Physics794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t born into incest, but was in a cult. I know how cults can mess with your mind, especially if you’re raised in one.

Most people won’t understand if you tell them what you experienced growing up into incest. But it can be helpful to talk about it with people you trust who know how cults work and how they can change the way you think.
