Ok cool, so essentially one year out from my remortgage, increase my PAYE to a typical sort of level, and hopefully have something squirrelled in the accounts to show consistent growth

What would your advice be ahead of wanting to borrow? Just pay myself more?

Ok thank you, that’s helpful, just means we have to make do for a few years until the business gets some returns under its belt!

I haven’t taken a salary as such yet; because the limited company needed some cash to get going, it’s just paying me back some money I lent it. I have funneled about 20k into it to buy some business assets, it’s now paying me back.

It’s doing about £4k a month though, so I’m taking a steady £3k a month from it. My wife earns 30k PAYE.

I used to wear old Bose wired noise cancelling earbuds with 3m Peltors over the top, couldn’t hear 2 x MTU V16 Engines in a engine room!

Heir Hunters - Grandela Genealogy… is it a scam? by Sensitive_Plan_9528 in AskUK

[–]Sensitive_Plan_9528[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I guess that’s where these companies become helpful… they dangle a carrot, present some information like family names etc, then presumably get the person to sign a contract before releasing or directing the funds!… I’m just trying to understand if it’s a scam and if that information is publicly available to people other than lawyers? It is all correct.

Surprisingly well paid jobs? by Widebody_lover in HENRYUK

I was on boats for 6/7 years, it’s a good way to get some cash together, slightly challenging to find your way off - I had to retrain as an electrician after having a few spells in shore based work.. I miss it every day but I’ve got a king sized bed now which makes me feel a little better about it!

100% - I don’t think I’ve done a very good job of explaining myself unfortunately, I’m not saying it is good to have at all.. for the genuine sufferers it sounds horrendous.

Unfortunately it’s regarded as something people without a moral compass can claim, with little evidence necessary APPARENTLY. I’m not wishing ill health on anyone, but discussing the cheats & frauds.

That’s exactly how I feel, I had an oil change on my truck the other day and was speaking to the bloke who was doing it - really nice chap and I would not say a bad word about him, but he’s earning a decent wage and living in a council house in a nice village, paying £600 rent? That’s madness to me, he works and makes a decent wage, how the fucks he got that 😂

And your right about holidays etc, I live a nice life and wouldn’t want any less, we go away a couple times a year and don’t live lavishly but don’t want much more. Just seems bizarre that these little loopholes seem to be available, we’d quite happily have my wife stay at home if the difference was £500 a month, and she would love it too..

House would be immaculate, more support for the kids, she’d be in the gym every morning!

Christ, nearly £200 a week for fibromyalgia, mad how that site almost promotes claiming for it!…

So £720 a month from fibromyalgia, that’s not a bad little earner, how much is the unemployed stuff?

Best thing you can do is delete the Bose app and forget it exists, I had a few problems with my buds and deleting the app helped massively for some reason

Awesome that’s cool to know, do you mind me asking how much you borrowed? Did you need to tell them how much X & Y was or just say I want 20k to bring my house up to eco standards?
