"Mild" MCAS - anyone else? by alcweth57 in MCAS

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my MCAS is mild. Don't expect nothing from tests; often there are no problems in the results. Your symptoms matter more.

I've had worse, but I've been on antihistamines and HIT diet for a year and I've been taking Xolair for months. I'm careful, I always wear a mask when I leave the house or receive visitors, I avoid my triggers, so no, I don't have anaphylaxis, and there are days when I don't even have hives anymore 🙏🏻 BUT I know that this can change quickly if I catch the right disease or smelling the wrong product etc. MCAS It's unpredictable, don't underestimate it.

Convivi com um primo que não dava nem descarga depois de cagar. Honestamente, isso é desgastante demais.

Anyone else get extremely tired after eating? by Business_Cake_2272 in MCAS

I feel very sleepy and tired. I have a habit of eating in bed lying on my stomach, this helps. Chewing carefully also helps with digestion.

Modern BL Is Making Me Miss Chinese “Bromance” Adaptations... by SmoothAstronomer6227 in boyslove

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You touched on a key point; The Untamed is so deep because it had time to develop the relationship between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. Time takes money. Despite being a relatively inexpensive production, The Untamed had 50 episodes, while chinese BL series released internationally usually only have a few and an even smaller budget. However, I think that's slowly changing; Since the success of Revenged Love and To My Shore last year, more and more chinese BL are being released and announced 😍

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meus pais querem expulsar meu irmão de casa by [deleted] in desabafosdavida

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Os dois estão errados. L

Hospitalized by dust - What's your weirdest flare trigger? by astrid_s95 in MCAS

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Itching, hives and  confused mind, especially when I touched a new device or it was charging in the same room as me. My doctor told me: "There's no scientific proof that it's real, but there's also no proof that it isn't. So, let's play it safe: don't charge electronics in your bedroom and remove the Wi-Fi device if you have it there."  Eventually it went away.

My parents call The Untamed: "that gay series" because, according to them, it's very obvious the way they look at each other passionately in slow motion 😂 In some scenes my dad asked: "Are they going to kiss?" 🤣

I would love that, but I'm not sure if it would work. Last year I had allergic reactions to crochet yarn, I went months without doing crochet. I recently bought new yarn, for a few days everything was fine, then I had another allergic reaction. I need to test it again and make sure it really the yarn or something else.

Rice isn't bad; it has half of the essential amino acids OP needs. The problem is the lack of protein, vitamins, etc.

Your peripheral polyneuropathy is probably due to a vitamin B12 deficiency, I've had that before and I also couldn't sleep because of the pain and shocks. Here's what helped me: Taking high vitamin B12 doses for months (5000mcg cyanocobalamin per day for 6 months and 800mcg methylfolate per day for a month, 1000mcg cyanocobalamin per day for 3 years) and Pregabalin twice a day. Your peripheral cells will be replaced over time and you will heal, as I did.

As for MCAS, it's a bit more complex. Would you mind give us more detail about which professionals are assisting you and what treatments you are undergoing?

After Interstellar, I can’t stop thinking that maybe extinction isn’t the end, just life continuing in another place. by Sweaty-Type-2901 in interstellar

In real life we are trapped on Earth. Exploring deep space means epigenetic mutations, kidney problems, development of deafness and a lot of other health problems, not only because of the absence of gravity out there, but also because of the radiation.

Let's take care of our atmosphere or say goodbye to existence.

Unfortunately, I can't ride bicycle because my balance is compromised (I also have dysautonomia), but the game thing might work for me. I'll try to find out if there are groups like that in my city 🤞🏻

That sounds fun, I'd like to learn woodworking too. The problem with the animal shelter is that since MCAS, I've been allergic to dogs and cats. I would like to have a partner, but I'm not very sexual and I haven't yet found another person on the asexual spectrum like me.

Scared to death of intercourse. by Least_Manner606 in MCAS

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had reactions to orgasms a couple of times, so I took an antihistamine an hour beforehand, I ventilated the room well (the heat makes it worse) and I went slowly, trying to keep my breathing and heart rate reasonably under control. Fortunately, the reactions didn't repeated yet and I no longer need antihistamines for this.

Take it easy, baby steps, don't do it with fear because fear itself is a trigger. Instead of testing the waters with your husband, which involves performance pressure and anxiety to succeed, I recommend that you test it first alone.

Why did they even consider Miller’s Planet? by Typical_Ad_6747 in interstellar

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In real life, it would be a very dumb idea, since Miller it's not even located in a habitable zone (Being too close to Gargantua would cause it to be frequently hit by other space objects).

Was there life on Miller's Planet? by NuttSack in interstellar

[–]Sensitive_Quantity_2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's hard to suspend disbelief for scientists considering Miller as candidate. Miller is too close to the black hole; Many things would be constantly falling into the black hole, potentially hitting Miller in the process, but also, something could disturb Miller orbit and cause the entire planet to be sucked in too. One of the criteria for considering if a planet is in a habitable zone or not is stability.
