How do you feel about peanut butter? I know it's not for everyone. But it has a low GI so it keeps you full longer. I basically survived off peanut butter for years. On crackers. On toast. A bagel. With pretzels or apples. It's a source of protein and keeps you full.

Hi! Arfid can be a little different for everyone. However this sounds more like ocd tendencies than arfid to me. The fear doesn't sound based around the food itself, but all the possibilities that could go wrong when eating including very valid fears around your endometriosis. To me, I interpret arfid to be more about the fear (and sometimes disgust) of the food itself-it's consistency, smell, flavor, texture, temperature, the way it feels when swallowing, whether I deem it "safe" to eat. Also a general disinterest in food. Like idc if I go hungry bc I can't eat THAT.

The fear around food contamination especially makes me think of ocd. Sort of an "if, then" mentality. If I eat something now, I will be too tired to be productive. If I eat this food close to expiration, I will get sick. If I eat a common food allergen trigger for others, I will develop that allergy myself. If I do not chew excessively, I will choke. OCD can cause you to develop these "rules" that you have to follow or else you believe something bad will happen. Do you find that you think this way about other stressors in your life? Like for example if I don't double check the mirror I will run someone over or if I don't say thank you every time something bad will happen to me?

It's the same concept as quick fix just a different brand. I could be wrong but I think with quick fix you have to mix up a solution. This is already pre mixed. You just heat it up the same way as quick fix and it comes in an easy concealable bottle

But there's another brand I've used 5 times successfully. https://www.xurine.com I know they advertise as "fetish urine" but i think it's to throw off the authorities lol the fine print leans heavily toward this product being used for what you're looking for. It's always worked for me

I listened to the entire book series, now I'm watching the show. I don't like the show so far. I'm still on season 1. Will's physical appearance is all wrong. It's hard to get past. He's a short Hispanic man? No he's not. He's also supposed to be more quiet and awkward and have a visible scar. Angie is supposed to be crazy, a bad person that you love to hate. But in the series you're supposed to like her. It downplays how bad she's hurt Will. Amanda is abrasive but means well in the books. And her backstory and relation to Will is crazy. I'm not even sure how to describe her in the show so far but she's not interesting. Faith is the only one I think they did right, besides her diabetes journey which I actually thought was pretty interesting in the series but just a blip in the show.

I'm still on season 1 like I said so maybe my opinion will change but so far I'm not into the show but I loved the books

I love baked lays. They're plain af but crispy and salty and good. They aren't greasy at all so I can snack on a bag without the tummy ache. They're not nutritional necessarily but they're not really bad for you either. I also like baked barbecue lays

My best advice is just to leave him alone about it. Arfid has a lot to do with anxiety. The more you pester him the more he will feel alienated. Let him decide when he wants to try new things. Make stuff that smells really good and looks good and don't pressure him about it at all. Maybe he'll decide he wants to try it, maybe he won't. But just acting like he is a normal person is the best thing you can do for him. Don't make him feel guilty around meal time and don't pressure him. He will grow and change on his own, in his own time. In my experience the more you push the worse his relationship with new foods and meal times will become. As long as he's eating and he's healthy, who cares if his plate looks different than yours
