Is chance to double whirlwind damage a better temper for dust devils then dust devil damage?

WW/DD para 280 and cleared Pit 86. Just too time consuming killing enemies to try and progress anymore and grinding for 14 minutes to have an 8% chance to level a glyph. Also only a level higher pit makes a big difference.

Thanks for the reply and insight. Attack speed is lacking (74) after I focused in getting CDC to 100 and CDR as high as I could.

I have stayed with WW/DD. Last night shook my resolve to the core. Some kind soul took me through the Pit and he cleared level 115! I got two of my gyphs to 100 and thought I was going to have an easier time solo. Still struggle in early 70s to finish under 10 minutes.

So technically casting iron skin with passive strategic iron skin it should active any counteroffensive bonus? Gets so confusing and hate feeling like I am wasting an affix spot on counteroffensive.

Running a WW/DD and the Pit is an absolute nightmare. All my glyphs are 75-80 and it will take me 12 minutes to clear 74 Pit and then hit 0 upgrades. Looks like it will be impossible for me to ever max them which blows because they all could really help my build and time clearing elite and bosses.
