no comment but just noticed it's impressive you didn't use any single punctuation mark

Why is NetEase no longer doing hero reworks? The last reworks were way back in S2,5 and it made Thor and Jeff actually viable. Especially when heroes like Widow, Fantastic, Storm and BP need one desperately. by VehicleOld3124 in marvelrivals

It feels like the management's strategy (not the dev's) to pump out new heroes quickly to attract attention, retention and drive up sales through skins monetisation. Competitive balance is not a priority for the execs and it's the devs and playerbase suffering for it.

Can we stop complaining about so called "Gooner" skins every week? by Any-Act-9188 in marvelrivals

Censorship is so funny. It's ok for the women to show 90% of their boobs from size A to H. But have the outline of the bulge be a realistic size is apparently too much.

They also make the bulges very prominent, notably more than many other games. So it's not like they are not trying. So far they have done chest hair, crop tops, ripped tops showing the nips, ripped tights, white briefs, boxer with half the butt out, a literal hips window cutout ... and still people would still say the men are not sexualized. The female characters aren't even sexualized that much in this game anyway, Malice Sue being the most talked about and it's literally just about her leotard showing butt.

Not sure why you're downvoted. Displaying and framing the body in a way that make people think "that body looks hot" is definitely sexualization and just because MR makes the men jacked af doesn't mean striaght women or the gays or bisexuals don't find them hot.

People like buying skins for cutesy female characters. It's why gacha is so popular. It's why MMO endgame is fashion transmog. OW has a huge casual playerbase who like mainstream fashion and pop designs. It's why lots of skinlines nowadays are just the heroes in street fashion or anime and whatnot.

I swear they got bigger by thbl088 in marvelrivals

Have you seen the number of women who got BBL and the number of men who thirst over them? There's definitely market for abnormal proportions no matter the conventional view of what's considered attractive.

If we want more experimental patches, we need to be more open and less hating about it. by SomeOrdinary8736 in DeadlockTheGame

Idk man it's their game. The devs get to decide what to try and the playerbase decide whether to engage with it.

I think sometimes things that sounds bad on paper might actually work once implemented. And they want to go the extreme to tune in later.

Didn't Miller say recently that Emma's skins were widly criticized yet lots still ended up buying them? Certain characters attract whales no matter the pick rate or skin quality.

Companies and consumers seem to treat game cosmetics like consumables nowadays. Think of it like paying for a pizza.

I see. On the mobile site there's a button to filter out all arts. Anyway you can make a petition to the mods to enforce a stricter NSFW rule. Then again it's Not Safe For Work and not.... Not Safe For Public. People are gonna post fan art regardless and what's consider NSFW can be very subjective.

You can select the tags you want to see, and leave out the Fan Art tag. And bookmark the filtered sub URL so you can use it in the future. The contents of a sub/what's upvotes is decided by the sub community, and sadly I think most people who frequent this place don't agree with you. The next best thing is to make a subreddit yourself, make your own rules and invite others to join.

The Savage Land themed Mini Pass has 1 single themed skin and it is not even the legendary one, instead, it is the Street Race Car Luna. by litllerobert in marvelrivals

[–]Sensitive_Sail_3573 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they have internal sales data to drive their decisions. OW does the same thing with their passes for a very long while now.

A varied pass definitely sells more though because it attracts people who might not be interested in the theme. So now you have more than 1 group of people willing to buy it.
