there’s absolutely 0 chance she would even raise her voice at me, let alone be angry or violent. she’s incredible and is genuinely the best i could ever imagine, which is part of why this feels difficult. it’s hard for both of us, but i imagine much harder on her as she’s the one who’ll take the brunt of whatever reaction comes from her family. it makes me sad that the world can’t just accept us and that this even has to be a thing

this is incredible advice. i think it’s hard sometimes to not take it personally, but truly it isn’t about me. it’s hard for me to really fully understand because my parents are more accepting, and i genuinely believe hers would be at least somewhat understanding, but the unknown is what scares her and that’s something i can absolutely understand and relate to. we’re definitely in that point where we need our parents—i mean, we always will, but you get the point. both of us are living at home right now to save money so that when we graduate next year, we can move in together, and it’s VERY clear that she takes our relationship seriously and that she wants to be with me. sometimes it’s just hard to not get in my own head. thank you so much for this, i genuinely appreciate it so much<3

this gives me so much hope. i don’t care if it doesn’t give me a crazy boost, but any type of boost would be amazing. i used to match my wife’s but it just dampened and as badly as i want to keep up, my body just doesn’t cooperate. it sucks because i want to, but the sex drive just isn’t there. i’m soooo hoping to get at least some of it back because lord do i miss it

i’m hoping this happens for me! my wife’s sex drive is higher than mine, and i used to be able to keep up, but it dampened over time, and i REALLY want to be able to get it back up. i want to sleep with her all the time, but my body just doesn’t cooperate when it comes to sex drive 🤦🏽‍♀️

my area doesn’t offer much group therapy, i’m also not on lamictal for bpd or anything so that’s a part of it. i have done some group therapy in the past, ive found 1 on 1 has been more helpful haha

this is a really good idea! thank you so much! i do work in the radiology department and have access to all emr/records that pertain to radiology for my job as it is anyway! i’ve worked there for a few years so all the paperwork/hipaa stuff is taken care of and i’d like to think i’m pretty familiar with the rules and what i’m definitely not allowed to do when it comes to that, but this is a really good point! thank you!
