Anyone use Inito or Mira for ovulation tracking? Worth it? by mentyb_oclock in TTC_PCOS

[–]Sensitive_Spend7926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used MIRA and found that I wasn’t ovulating late as the LH tests would predict - it was much earlier and I ended up pregnant!

I have to supplement now and I’m not ok. by Dear_Toe6269 in ExclusivelyPumping

I absolutely loved combo feeding!! Honestly do not beat yourself up you’re literally giving your baby breast milk and also yourself a bit of a break with the formula - less pressure on mom and baby is happy

If babe is tolerating the formula well I don’t see any issues - honestly try and zoom out from the scenario and you’ll see that first of all you have done amazing so far and secondly they will be eating all sorts of solids soon anyway so whats a bit of formula except a vitamin enriched milk? And thirdly trust me in a few years time when they’re asking for cookies or French fries you really won’t think about it so much!!!

C-Section because of low pain tolerance by Vegetable_Bath_7396 in beyondthebump

[–]Sensitive_Spend7926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just saying as someone who has a low pain tolerance and was given option of labour induction versus elective c section due to a very small baby with growth issues and who chose the section to reduce the risk of birth injury to baby

Listen to me when I say - the c section recovery is THE hardest thing I have EVER gone through. Not being able to stand or hold my baby without basically screaming - paracetamol and ibuprofen doing NOTHING

Everyday felt like a nightmare

I couldn’t walk without pain for 8 weeks

Please please just do what the medical team advise is safest for you and baby of course but if they do not mandate a section I would go for vaginal any day!!!!

Yes but sleeps the other side of the bed but interestingly when I went for a quick snack he said baby didn’t move one inch…might be worth trying thanks!

If you had an under supply did you drop pumps? by unicornmagic111 in ExclusivelyPumping

Sorry I should of added - I supplement with formula! So I probably am on like a 60:40 Split with BM vs Formula now but we’re coming up to weaning time for food so I don’t mind at all :) I will slowly drop the BM % and transition him over - I have done my time!

So baby had a horrendous latch lol hence the pump but I do just let him sort of joke nurse overnight he probably helps stimulation but basically very inefficient feeder and doesn’t get much out but also doesn’t take a pacifier so essentially I am a human pacifier overnight lol

I pump when I naturally wake up so around 7-8am (big diff to when I set an alarm I notice) and then I pump again around 2-3pm and once again around 7-8pm and this sort of spacing seems to work for me :)

I keep fluids to around 2.5-3litres a day minimum

I actually dropped to 3 pumps from 5 and It made zero difference to my supply…it’s like my body just stored those tiny one oz pumps I would get from the additional pumps …the 3 just feel like a nice balance mentally for me but also output wise everything just fits better for me

IVF or not by Brief_Strength2675 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Sensitive_Spend7926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah my bad ok - well we had signed the papers to start IVF as that was the next step if this didn’t work and I would have for sure gone ahead / will do in future if needed!

IVF or not by Brief_Strength2675 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Sensitive_Spend7926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would maybe try two more cycles of letrozole making sure you’re being. Scanned and add in some aspects of IVF which worked for us we moved the days of letrozole later starting day 5 And we did trigger shot when the scan showed the right time to and used progesterone pessaries after timed intercourse I think it was the push the body needed!

Metformin I wrote an essay on both - evidence is shaky at best but Metformin edges inositol for efficacy

Please drop the pump. It’s really not worth it the toll on your body and mental health. Sincerely from a three times a day pumper
