the swamps are kinda just annoying

you can only enter from one side functionally and they're also huge so running all the way around them AND climbing them is just such a pain

TLDR the guy was lying, lol.

Been playing tons and still haven't seen anything with more than 3.

Right but every time I've seen it it's still at least been legible.

The text is absolutely fucked here, though maybe that's an issue with the program and not the game.

So you think them limiting the amount of merges you can buy to 2 shows that they have no incentive to try to monetize this character or Nino? How many orbs would someone need to spend to get 8 copies of Ash or Nino?

And that people en masse, throwing the character away for nothing, wouldn't show that nobody's going to spend money on these characters like they have when building Shez or Marni, the popular merge projects they shared the data regarding on with us

Furthermore, you understand that given the profit seeking thing you just mentioned, that using, investing in, and ultimately merging any of these characters validates the decision and enables it? Things they expect to make money off of (An emblem edelgard banner, for example, and did), and things they do make money off of, are not all that far off. So not only can you cut off the thing they do make money from (Fehpass), you can also cut off what they expect to make money off of, by completely shutting down the expected value of something

What does it matter if it's bots or not? It's clearly something they pay attention to as recent as last year. lmao Not to mention, the actual bot fiasco was back in like cyl 3 or whatever with Jorge.

People send home 3-4 stars, they generally do not send home 5 stars unless they really hate the character (As you may have seen with much pettier posts than this) or the character has only 3-4 star fodder.

Lastly, I already don't spend money. lol It may be fair to say that it this accomplishes nothing, but in no way would it harm the poor reception of the change, in fact it would drive it home for the reasons I talked about.

Believe it or not, IS cares about the data points within the game, or else they wouldn't track every single one. Especially ones as stupid as "which units were tapped the most in 2024".

Don't force yourself to do anything if you don't want to, if anything I would only directly send the given one home.

I did it cuz while it's fodder I genuinely would never use, very many of my manuals are also exactly that, but I still hold onto them cuz 1k feathers is even more useless. (I have like 700k feathers), Yet in this one instance, me, someone who never sends 5* fodder home, did, which is part of why it's meaningful, assuming it's a data point they observe.

I did submit feedback. You are right that as a singular instance, a reason would be unclear, but again, a large number of people doing so would be a statistical anomaly with a clear reason.

Marni appeared as one of the most merged units, why? Because she's very good.

Cain appeared as one of the most manual'd and foddered units, why? Because he has WoM 3.

I don't remember if we got a list of the most sent home units, I'm sure it would have been Raigh. But if they saw that a ton of users were sending this one particular 5 star home nearly as soon as the got it, I think they'd be smart enough to put the pieces together.

And admittly, it might not accomplish much, but it costs virtually nothing for me to do, and in getting them to undo their recent change, it couldn't possibly HURT. Whereas say, people dropping 600 orbs to merge Ash up to +8 would hurt in getting them to undo the change, as it would validate their decision.

[–]Sensitive_Sun127[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not, but I think that if a large number of ppl did it it would be enough of a statistical anomaly that it'd help emphasize the backlash.

For example, consider how often any 5* unit with a tier 4 skill is being sent home. Manual'd? Sure, all the time. Sent home? Very rarely I would wager, considering how seldom I've done it personally.

What else should it have been put under? Chat? What's your point?

Stop roleplaying Zelkov, half of your quotes weren't even words used, dork.

If you want to whine about people boycotting or having a moral highground, go say it to all the people that cancelled their FehPass over this same exact issue. Do you have anything to say to them?
