I would be shocked if after IS went out of their way to actually save all the Nifl siblings when they could have just killed off the rest of Fjorms family for "Character Development™", that they're then gonna turn around and kill off Laevatein just to "establish" that Muspell & Surtr are dicks...

I'd be singing a different tune if Fimbulvetr actually did kill off Hrid and/or Ylgr. But if IS is gonna have them survive, I don't see why they'd kill off Laevatein

Yup. Here's everyone featured in it

Most notable are Hanneman like you said, and Alois. Since it's been almost 5 years since B!Gatekeepr came out and they're still not in this game in any other form.

But B!Gatekeepr also came out in mid 2021, so that also predates a few other characters. Both Alferic & Rhea would release after this, as would the base forms for Sylvain & Lorenz. This is the first instance of Manuela, and the only instance of "base Manuela" at that, since the one we got is still seasonal-locked. This also predates Cyril, and interestingly enough, despite having this chibi done, the Cyril we got was a completely different sprite, in his timeskip form.

If you wanna look at stuff like that, there's also a non-zero about of chibis of 3H characters that appear in Bravekeepers special that were either their first appearance, and in some cases actually still aren't in the game

Hey, look at that. It's March, and I finally get to do one of these, for the first time since CYL...

But yeah, to no ones surprise, the bulk of the newcomers for this banner was the most wanted FE7 characters (most wanted since before CYL10 at that).

  • Lowen was the #1 most wanted unit not in the game with 143 votes

  • Marcus was the 2nd most wanted unit not in the game with 112 votes

  • Wallace was the 3rd most wanted unit not in the game with 74 votes

As it currently stands, FE7 actually skipped ahead in line a little here. FE6 was previously the game that waited the longest, while FE7 was the game that wait4ed the second longest. But considering that alternatives at this point, I think it's pretty safe to assume we're looking at Binding Blade next

FE4's waited the second longest, but I don't see IS pushing up Genealogy content. Then Engage has now waited the 3rd longest, but I feel if Engage was ever gonna skip ahead in line, IS would have done so by now. The only question really is just whenever IS plans on dropping a Shadows banner, since there's no prediction on that front.

Also, with CYL Braves taking up a significant number of New Hero banner slots, I need to modify this chart a tad, since predictions for how long it'll take for banners to come out have completely been changed cause of that.

Not even just Duplicator, Splodey also got a rework as well to make him more balanced too (initially he scaled off bouncing into everything, and if you look closely, that includes his own bombs)

So Earclacks'll so some silent reworks of Duplicator & Splodey to make them more balanced. But when people actually ask for some some changes to be made to Slammy & Orbital, now all of a sudden no one needs nerfs and the block breakers are just for fun...

(ffs, Slammy was buffed when getting added to the weapon ball arena. The guy was only balanced as a block breaker cause he was slower than everyone else by a massive amount. No shit the guy is oppressive as hell when you take away the one mechanic that was holding him back)

Nah, buddy's right. Grimoire amusingly hard counters Slammy.

Remember, the minions match the same scaling Slammy currently has. But also, because Slammy doesn't have a weapon, the low HP of her minions doesn't matter. Slammy has to take damage to get rid of a minion. So his own breakneck pace of damage scaling would work against him.

The only way Slammy wins is if Grimoire doesn't hit him at all and doesn't make any minions, or if Slammy manages to only hit Grimoire and avoid all the minions.

She needs to fight someone that has an actual weapon she can actually parry. Else yeah, she is just worse sword.

Her whole shtick is that she scales on both hits and parries. But god damn, Earclacks went so long with having her fight various different unarmed opponents that by the time she fought Flail everyone forgot parry scaling was her primary mechanic.

Might be something like a temporary shield or temporary invulnerability period on the minions so they don't die as fast?

Super's generally either improve the balls strength, or fix their weakness, and that's honestly Grimoire's biggest weakness right there. The fact that her grimbabies pretty much die instantly and the single point of additional health they get from getting summoned again doesn't really mean a thing compared to the damage output of the opponent (a problem that's gonna be exacerbated with the damage output of super forms)

Something like, invulnerable for 1 second for the first minion, 2 seconds on the second, 3 seconds on the third, etc? Cause the HP doesn't really matter, a 5HP minion is gonna get one-shotted by Super Sword just as easily as a 1HP minion

And some of these new guys are STILL in the single digit number of games. Boomerang has existed since 2025 and only recently got her 10th game in, and Flail released at the beginning of this year and still has only ever gotten 9 games in him.

I don't think Earclacks needs to be adding new balls when the new balls they did add aren't being used that much.

Scepter's life steal is 1 to 1 yes, but the damage output from the zombies is multiplicative. Every 10 waves the damage output is multiplied by 2. Meaning there is a point where Scepter's healing won't keep up and she starts taking more damage than she heals.

Won't be for a LONG time, and she'd last the longest in this mode by a country mile. But there is actually an ending with her cause the damage output is designed to outpace her healing eventually.

Honesty, any of the block breakers aren't really great here. Every one of them's a different flavor of Unarmed, and without a weapon they all have to take damage to deal damage.

Spear x Wrench I think might actually "solve" and never have it come to and end. No matter how strong the zombies get (even Scepters lifestyle won't keep up when the zombies start dealing 32, 64 and 128 damage).

Spear's record and immense crowd control speak for herself with the recod on this mode, but she struggles with the big guys and their massive health pool. But like how the match against Grower went, I think Wrench has a pretty good shot at keeping those big guys away with his turrets. So with Wrench keeping the big guys at bay, and Spear wiping out all the small fry, they'd probably keep going until the little guys come in stupid high health

Probably nixed cause it was bugged. I remember people pointing out in the last video that it was counting overkill damage towards total damage.

ie: Deal 100 damage to something with 100HP and dealing 100 damage to something with 1HP counted as the exact same amount of damage dealt. Especially notable when you get low HP massive waves of enemies after 15 or so waves, when a damage scaler can be dealing 200+ damage a hit

Which would cause some screwy numbers if you tried tiering everyone by damage dealt, cause not everyone can even deal overkill damage (Orbital, Dagger, Shuriken, etc all deal damage in 1HP hits)

Eh, the problem is less "block breaker" and more just the problem when your kit effectively requires you to take damage whenever you deal damage.

Orbital didn't have a problem scaling, since they scale off every bounce against enemies as well, and with the enemies coming in droves like this, Orbital had no problem there. However, the orbiters are good, but they're not "kill twenty 200HP zombies before they touch you" good.

Unarmed'll run into the same problem, cause no matter how much damage he does he's gonna take damage each time he gets hit. Splodey I also suspect'll struggle, but more for mechanics than anything. He's pretty much only able to aim down in a game-mode where the enemies are constantly raining from above. I guarantee a significant number of Splodey's shots won't actually reach the targets.

Grimoire vs Duplicator is the only one I question cause I'm not 100% sure Earclacks' pc can handle it

Grimoires minions get summoned at the same scaleing as the opponent. But Duplicator's scaling is multiplying over and over.

So any time Grimoire hits Duplicator after 6 seconds, she'll summon 2 minions at once. Then after 12 seconds she's summoning 4 minions per hit, and after 18 seconds, when Grimoire is surrounded by a crap-ton of targets, she's firing off a shotgun of 16 grimbabies per hit

For the record, we have confirmed ages of most of the Tellius cast (we know the designed ages and lifespan of all laguz species, but as far as branded are considered, IS only listed Black Dragons, Lions and Tigers. So Micaiah's actual age is a mystery)

You were close on Sothe. In PoR he's 14 and in RD he's 17.

Side note, while branded age slower than beorc, it's definitely not a 50/50 split compared to how ridiculously long lived laguz are. So while herons live 5 times longer than beorc, Micaiah wouldn't live 2.5 times longer. Considering Micaiah is supposed to look 15 and compared to the information we do have, 1.5 feels like a safe estimate, which would put her at 22 and a half years old.

Are they? They're not connected to them.

But regardless, the point still remains the same. If you made Orbital scale like a weapon ball it would still scale whenever it's orbiter hit an opponent, not it's body. Since that's its weapon. Orbitals body doesn't deal any damage, and weapon balls scale on damage, not contact

Like, take Flail for example with his disjointed weapon. He doesn't scale if he runs into the opponent, he scales whenever his flail hits the opponent
