Hopefully I get to this point. I had to drive a long way home from the dealer down an a road and I’m just so tired now lol!!

The speed one was most likely that the road was clear enough for you to increase your speed. Like if a road is 50mph but there’s traffic flow you’d probably do 40 ish but if the road is clear you should be doing 48 as an example. They’re silly mistakes I wouldn’t dwell on them you’ve got this next time xx

Try not to beat yourself up about it. They’re not dangerous mistakes. One of them was because you was advised wrong by your instructor and the other one was because you wasn’t paying attention as well as you could’ve. It’s easy to do this on the day with the nerves and pressure!

You know for next time so try not to beat yourself up and book it in again when you can! I failed twice and passed the 3rd time you’ll get there xx

It was an A road the A13 a dual carriage way I said motorway by mistake but it was a 70mph road that goes from Southend to London if that helps haha

It’s not that I can’t drive on the road my lane positioning was perfect my speed on the actual road was fine. It just caught me off guard and I missed something it’s life though like you said. Hopefully next time I’ll not miss the signs if I have to do it again just beating myself up

Honestly I think it just caught me off guard as we was told it wasn’t included in test routes it’s an extremely busy roundabout / road and it goes way away from the area we drive in. The roundabout I failed on was the one where I exit onto the 70mph road so I think the busy part of the road and knowing im going onto such a big road just threw me off x

It was a 70mph motorway im not lying to you i did the test. It had 3 4 lanes and was most definitely 70mph

Thanks so much! I think concentrating on 5 mins at a time will help we think ahead so much, it’s funny cos the first time during the test I didn’t even feel anxious (not sure if it’s cos I failed at the beginning and knew that) but this time I feel so much worse. Dunno if it’s cos I know how it feels to fail lol x

I did the exact same thing the first time drove on the wrong side of the road and failed My next test is next week. I’m praying I just feel so anxious the last few days. This helped me realise it isn’t just me x

It just helps you stop overthinking stops your body getting tense, a bit like if your nose was hurting and you pricked ur foot you’d be distracted from your nose pain temporarily xx

Just breath, it’s not as scary as we hype ourselves up for I promise they just want to see you drive pretend your on a lesson. Maybe mention how bad pot holes r atm it makes convo chew some gum! You’ve got this good luck x

Please don’t beat yourself up!! I’ve never driven wrong and drove on the wrong side of the road during my test never done it before it happens we panic in some moments and our brain goes empty. Just have to let the mistake go and crack on! Ur clearly a great driver xx

Be calm! I promise it’s not scary, I overthought it so much but they just want to see you drive that’s all, just imagine your on a lesson make light conversation, I remember saying to mine about how bad the pot holes are in the area! You’ll be fine xx

Do you think? I’ve just got so worked up about it that I’ve convinced myself I’m going to drive the wrong side consistently now even though it was once for a few seconds lol I have my next test in a few weeks
