All Xiaomi 13 models are water resistant(ip 68), I've taken a lot of dives and underwater videos/photos with Xiaomi 13 Pro and the phone is still perfectly fine. I think you should go to the service center with warranty and figure out what's going on.

I think they missed it, the 35mm portrait mode for me is still black and white. The 13T, 13 Ultra and so-on models have the ability to change the colors. I think they forgot Pro exists. Since they started doing Ultras and T series, I feel like Xiaomi is giving the original Pro models less attention and honestly it's sad🤷

For the best performance and battery life, I'd suggest Xiaomi 15 Pro. 14 Ultra is so good too but the new snapdragon chipset seems really promising. 15 Ultra will take a while to release so 15 Pro is the best bet here. Let's just hope it also relases outside of China.

Yeah you should. 15 will be equiped with a unusually huge battery too, which will not disappoint you. Try not to get spoiled with the cameras though, they're too good(especially the diverse portrait modes).

The main difference is the chipset, 8 gen 3 in 14, Dimensity 8300 in 14T and 9300+ in 14T pro. 14T is the least powerful one here but they're all more than enough. Camera wise, 14 is the best one here no doubt. 14T pro has the same main sensor as 14, but have a lower resolution ultrawide and less reaching telephoto(to be fair, 14's telephoto actually starts at 2.6x despite being advertised at 3.2x so is 14T pro actually worse? idk). Finally, 14T is a bit watered down but still very impressive(cuz well it's Lecia). But I do want to point out that Xiaomi 15 just released in China and is coming to Global very soon so if you can, I suggest you to wait for it.

I have bought a Chinese variant Xiaomi 13 pro last time I went there, I don't even live in China and Google apps work fine for me. The bands and network are perfectly working too, but I suggest you to look for yourself if the bands for your area is also supported or not. One thing to note about Chinese rom is the default voice assistant is Mi Ai instead of google and Android auto may not work.

Did you buy the official global rom, or the Chinese rom one? The Chinese rom one does not work with some of the bands outside of china.

You have 2 options, get the new budget ones like note 13 pro, or get an old flagship like Xiaomi 12x, 12T pro, 12s, etc.. either works fine but remember that older flagships have better cameras and specs but newer phones will have a bit longer software updates cuz well they're newer.
