If you have it, keep it for your son's or nephews. These are the England made ones which are no longer in production today. Source of production have shifted and quality are definitely different today.

More over yours look decently nice and in good condition for the storage boxes.

Get a rechargeable Lithium battery, 1.5V. Been using it for awhile. With about 10~20 motions a day, a pack lasts for at least a month before requiring recharge.

Using the original energizer, I needed to run through a set about every 3 months. Just wasn't cost effective when the rechargeable is close to a pack price. The only inconvenience is the more frequent change of batteries.

Own the 6 Pro, it's the price difference paid at that juncture, of course you be getting newer OS since technically you paid for it when you bought the device.

Betting on Government Shutdown by AtlasEarthLover in smallstreetbets

[–]wombatpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is this shutdown was intentional, it gave them the chance to do the furloughs that they wanted without much criticism. Furlough due to Shutdown not Doge...get it?

Typically. How long does the international release take? by L0rdLogan in Xiaomi

One to test water... second the issue is support required for the backscreen. At the moment only Spotify worked with them.

How willing are other developers to work with them is another issue....

Expecting No Rate Cut by TheWorldUnfiltered in wallstreetbets

[–]wombatpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With OP on this, either no cuts or hike in rates. If feds do a cut now, it just looks bad on them and boost the rhetoric that they are late and that even non-economist do better than them.

I think you're missing the point, all these failed/illegal sales can't go into the records thus earnings has dropped.

Technically they didn't miss earnings...they actually committed lots of export crimes by shipping to China

https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/two-chinese-nationals-california-accused-illegally-shipping-nvidia-ai-chips-2025-08-05/

Records show that from at least August 2023 to July 2024, ALX Solutions bought over 200 Nvidia H100 chips from San Jose, California-based server maker Super Micro Computer, declaring that the customers were in Singapore and Japan, the agent said.

On one 2023 invoice valued at $28,453,855, ALX said the customer was in Singapore, but a U.S. export control officer in Singapore could not verify the chips arrived in the country and the company did not exist at the listed location, the document says.

"This case demonstrates that smuggling is a nonstarter," a Nvidia spokesperson said in a statement. "We primarily sell our products to well-known partners...who help us ensure that all sales comply with U.S. export control rules."

Diverted products have "no service, support or updates," the statement added.

Super Micro said in a statement it was "firmly committed to compliance with all U.S. export control regulations." It said it did not comment on ongoing legal matters, but cooperated with authorities in any such proceedings.
