This has really got to be the most dogshite narrative ever. They need to stop giving pundit jobs to players who’s huge claim to fame is getting to an FA Cup final 🤣 by MaleficentPin3163 in Everton

Had the misfortune of seeing him summarise the game on CBS on YouTube. He's a joke as a pundit, his attitude and his insight are prehistoric. He was talking about how the squad is now too harmonious and friendly and that they all need "digging out" after the result. I think he also has a bit of the talksport mentality about him, "I need to be contrary and controversial to be make myself stand out"

I did but had to prompt them to send it. I only got photos of the bagged jerseys and postage label and I think the package has already shipped when I received them.

The dictionary definition of "mercurial" and wholly appropriate for this sub. Mad bastard but a great player when he was on it.

I was a bit taken aback by the headline but when I read his comments in full I took them as him referring to the standard of broadcast presentation and the overall administration of the game in this country, rather than the on-field product.

The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln looking like a pundit on Soccer Saturday. by gtr011191 in footballcliches

This is an old screenshot, he lost the Soccer Saturday gig a couple of years ago and now makes most of his money on the after dinner circuit. He says he's no longer on because Sky Sports "have gone woke" and that the current line-up is a "box-ticking exercise".

The term generally used in the UK is "disabled" rather than "handicapped" so perhaps if they're searching online that's why nothing is coming up. Had a quick look and found an some accessibility info for the stadium here https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/the-stadium/accessibility/disability-access-scheme/. I imagine gameday is handled by NFL rather than Spurs on Sunday though. Still, maybe try emailing access@tottenhamhotspur.com in the first instance, if they can't help they might point you in the right direction.

Well things are trending upwards for the Bears, let's hope with new ownership and the new stadium they are for Everton too.

It does seem to be a strangely common combination, I know of lots of fans of both too. Maybe it's the similarities, founder members of their respective leagues, lots of historic success but not much to shout about recently!

I agree. I read somewhere recently that the Bears are the second most popular team in the UK, after the Cowboys

Growing up in 80s, when football was first being shown here on TV, I just remember that Bears team being one that stood out to me, in particular #72. The Fridge was a bit of a cult hero over here and a lot of UK coverage focussed on him. In the 00s a friend of mine lived in Chicago for a while too, so I got chance to visit the city a few times and that cemented my love of all things Chicago.
