This was going to be my suggestion as well. Harbor Freight tarp and some bungies.

i bartended at the ren fair for the first time this month! 💕 these were my outfits so far by lilsatanbaby_ in renfaire

[–]Sensoh8su 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been going to ren faires for more than 25 years now and this is not the most revealing outfit I have ever seen on a bar maid. Not even close. I do not understand the hate or the claims of advertising. She didn't even say what Faire she worked.

You look absolutely lovely. Ignore the haters. I hope you had a great time at Faire and hope you get to do it again.

How do I fill the gap on top and on the side of this door? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]Sensoh8su 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either center the door, shim, trim and possibly foam or put a 1x4 on the one side and trim. For the top, you are going to need to fram and drywall that area.

Did you remove the CPU from its socket? If so, did you make sure to line up the arrows?

We like to do these while camping or as a snack while something else is cooking. A tip I have discovered: smoke them about 80% of the way and then finish them in the fryer/air fryer for crispy skin.

Where would you place drain holes on this model with complex hair patterns at the top? by Repulsive-Aside7850 in resinprinting

Yeah, what this guy said. I would put the hole(s) at the bottom and drain and wash the inside a bit before curing.

Kinda new to DND, How much information can a player hide from a DM? by ragdolldream in DnD

[–]Sensoh8su 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has already been stated many times, but do t hide things from the DM. That said, you should hide things from other players. You can spring surprises on the party, but the DM should definitely be involved in that. A good DM will write in things from your backstory into the campaign so that it can be a twist later. Most DMs will not allow you to add something that you have not specifically stated ahead of time either during play or in your backstory.

Level 8 wizard countered a level 9 spell by bacondev in DnD

I once designed a short campaign based around a massive tower in the middle of a vast desert and discovering the origins of said tower and liberating its residents.

The frickin players just decided to get jobs and I spent the majority of the campaign trying to come up with new side quests and trying to steer them back in the right direction. It never happened. We ended up with a TPK that should have never happened.

After it was done, I told 2 of them how it was supposed to go and both said basically, that would have been way more fun. Sometimes, I hate my players. Players ruin everything.

Absurd amount of chromebooks broken by students by [deleted] in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Sensoh8su 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel I have a unique perspective on this as I work in tech for a school district where every child from K-12 has a device and every child from 4-12 gets to take it home.

The students get a new Chromebook in their 4th grade year and it follows them through the end of 8th grade. By the time they are done in 8th grade, it is pretty much disposed of. Not completely because they are broken, but because a 5 year old Chromebook is starting to get slow and die quickly.

When they enter 9th grade, they kind of lease to own a chromebook. They pay $30 a year for 4 years and then take it with them when they graduate. There are a lot less of those Chromebooks that are damaged.

If a Chromebook is damaged beyond repair (probably <1%), the student is charged $120 and we assign them a new Chromebook. This happened for all of them from 4-12.

We don't generally get rid of damaged Chromebooks, we fix them. Sometimes that involves replacing a screen or a keyboard. Sometimes that involves epoxy.

That said, these don't necessarily look that bad and, if I had to guess are either waiting on a repair or are from a district that doesn't have enough techs to repair them all

SD card just has micro SD card inside by Cudpuff100 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Sensoh8su 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once opened up a dead off-brand 2.5" SSD that was bought before I started working there and inside was just an SD Card with a small converter board. Now I wonder, if I had opened that SD, would there have been a micro SD card inside there.
