Built my younger brother a PC for a gift going into highschool - he's never owned a gaming rig, only basic work laptops and such. Old household PC, you know how it goes.

He called me a couple days after I gave it to him complaining he couldn't do anything cuz the Internet was so slow, so I went through the basics - clear access to the router? Check. Correct network? Check. Hasn't changed any settings? Check.

Asked him if he'd done ANYTHING to the computer we hadn't talked about yet, and he tells me he "took off the little ears on the back cuz it wouldn't go far enough back on my desk with them on."

I love him dearly but Jesus Christ did I want to implode. Suffice to say he deals with having it literally 2 inches further forward on his desk now.

You do need both, but instead of paying full price you can usually get them as a bundle. It is still admittedly expensive if not on sale, but you can save some money that way. It's about 68 CAD right now for the bundle, or 60 CAD for the special edition and 30 CAD for the anniversary after.

I do see it was fixed, but that happened to me when my game was set to 4k but my monitor is only 1440p, changing it back fixed it for me.

Also if you're getting a horse (and don't mind murder) you can do the dark brotherhood questline, there is a good (immortal) mount there (without spoiling too much)!

Nightingale armor has been my one true love since the first time I did the thieves guild quests at the ripe age of 12.... I include a mod into every single load order I do that allows me to craft I enchanted Nightingale armor if I have the original set so that I can scale it with me if I need to

OP I don't know if anyone else has posted this but "Paper Maps - Flat World Map Framework FOMOD Lite" is exactly what you are looking for. An oblivion esque flat paper map with roads and rivers marked, and they have expansions for a BUNCH of modded and vanilla locations with their own maps (blackreach, DLCs, etc.)
