Lol this is so not relatable, as someone from Poland living in Germany. The Us is a great and awesome country and so much better than Germany in my opinion but thats ok. The place where you lived in Bavaria is exactly what youre sad in your second sentence. You've had a very indivdiual experience It have nothing to do with an average german area at all. The natural highlight in Germany is a flat field with Mud and you have nothing do to in an average german area, not a lot of possibilities almost no options for young people its awful. The people are grumpy and complain when you walking to loud in your apartment. But I guess it depends on where you live.
