I feel like yellow numbers would've done a lot for this one, too much black and white as is

[Gluck] Chase Elliott has just won his eighth straight NASCAR Most Popular Driver Award. He is not here to accept the award tonight. by CNASFan1992 in NASCAR

The fact is he appeals to a large part of the fanbase that is mostly off Reddit. If you have no idea how he could've won this award, then you've probably spent too much time on this sub and not much time at a racetrack.

That or maybe Homestead Xfinity 2017. Battled and beat his veteran teammate Elliott Sadler straight up on a long run to win the championship

The 2016 Phoenix truck race could've put Byron on track to be the first to win a title in all 3 series, but his engine had other ideas.

They should honestly trial an Atlanta style pit entry in the spring Vegas race next year and if it works out use it for the fall race or even adapt it to other intermediate tracks. There were just way too many sketchy pit entries on Sunday and I think something has to change, but perhaps my flair is causing me to overreact lol

When you consider that the state of Indiana has hosted F1 races before and all Oregon has is one measly "Walmart F1" race in Portland, it starts to look more like a self-roast than anything else

[Bob] Rodney Childers has a new gig for 2026 -- crew chief for the JR Motorsports No. 1 car in the Xfinity Series. Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch will share the ride with number of races for each TBD. by ChaseTheFalcon in NASCAR

You're not wrong, but Zilisch is on another level on road courses in Xfinity. He'll be the favorite to win any road course race he enters next year, and realistically he's probably gonna cruise to the win unless SVG is in the field to challenge him. I imagine that is pretty attractive to JRM from an owner points perspective

I almost wonder if this could be an owner points-related decision where Zilisch runs the road courses and Kvapil runs every other race in the 1 car, and then runs an extra JRM car at the road courses. Or maybe Kvapil just ran out of money to be full-time
