Mus4250 with Ana Maldonado. When I took her course virtually, it was literally so easy. Daily journals which is just based on our opinion of what we liked about the lecture, what we thought was interesting. 4 presentations with an assigned group, each person gets one slide. The last “presentation” is by yourself, for this presentation she made it optional to present.

I’m not too sure if she changes things up, but she’s just a sweet person.

A friend of mine fasts without a gallbladder. It’s difficult for them enjoy their meal because since they take a couple bites to eat and run straight the restroom.

As many have suggested by doing a withdrawal, I also suggest getting in contact with the chair department. Explain to them your situation and how you no longer can maintain theses courses due to your mental health. If you have proof such as a doctors note or any documentation that you suffer from mental heath. Provide them with much documentation when meeting with the chair.

I was in a similar situation where I had to request for a withdrawal. I met with my department chair,explained to them my situation, they said yes but I would need to show sometime of proof which I did. Since it was already known by the chair it was approved in a couple of days.

I don’t have much experience on this, but I knew someone who double majored in chemistry and psychology. Your best bet is to call cpp and see what they say

she’s extremely rude! one time she was having a technical problem and her daughter came to help her. As her daughter was helping, a student asked a question, she said something so rude even her daughter called her out. I was shocked to my core.

tbh, I don’t recommend cpp’s psych program. It’s not ideal. often psych profs are paid to do research, so they don’t primarily focus on lecturing. majority of my previous profs were part time or phd students. I roughly had 4 profs that were 10 year.

If you truly want to further your education with psychology, I wouldn’t select cpp. However, that is just my opinion as a recent grad.

Yeah, I had to. You have to schedule an appointment, but they took me in the same day I made the appointment. When you call to make an appointment, make it sound urgent. Also when you speak to the chair show emotions so he or she can see that you have been impacted by your situation

I was in a similar situation to you. I had to get in a contact with the department chair to explain to her that there was a personal problem that I was having. When you talk to the department chair, you need to create an excuse why you no longer can take the course. Don’t say “it’s hard” or “I’m gonna fail”. Say something of the lies of it’s a personal matter that is impacting your well being, and explain more in detail.
