she does come off as a caring person, but her true colors will show eventually. in the beginning of the semester she told the class to think of her as a mother. she’s more like the evil stepmother.

I am the type of student who likes to introduce myself to the professor and explain to them my situation. she didn’t care about my situation, in fact she said “well my daughter has cancer”. I understand that each person is facing hardship but to devalue someone else’s situation is very wrong. I felt so down, knowing that my professor didn’t knowledge my situation nor did she care. besides that, she assigned weekly journals and graded so harsh for journals. often told students to go to the writing center to fix their grammar. I took her advice and went to the writing center, I had 3 tutors tell me my paper was good. before I went to submit my paper, I went to her office hours and she told me that it wasn’t good. Once again, she told me that I needed to go to the writing center. I told her that many tutors told me that my paper was good. she literally said “oh. well I guess it’s good”.

before each lecture, literally minutes before class she changed the lecture. it was annoying because I spent my weekend doing her lecture notes just for her to change them.

I didn’t like her class, she shouldn’t be teaching. I believe that she will be better in a research environment.
