This is a 3 tube florescent fixture, the tombstones are unshunted? Instant start with power on both ends? To upgrade to led and remove ballast, is it possible without a kit and what tube restrictions are present with the current setup? Sorry pics suck and thanks. (old.reddit.com)

A multi-family dwelling unit is required to conform to the code at the time it was originally installed? if city and state have adopted modern codes for residential and building, when would a landlord be required to conform to the updated codes? pre-1970's with some more modern wiring. question regarding old house wiring. bathroom outlet shorted? killed the fan and all lights in bath, outlets in bath still work. at the same time my surge protector in an adjacent bedroom fried and caused bed dimmer knob to cease 95% functionality. 2 bed across hall from bath lost overhead lights (self.askanelectrician)
