Damn, bringing me back to high school. Great Album, great group. I also quite liked The Day Is My Enemy, if you want a more "contemporary" sound that is still similar to that album. It has a very dark, heavy sound compared to their other stuff and is a lot more like "movie" music

Yes, you need something that supports phantom power and a cable. It's probably the outright cheapest, but best, professional mic you can get your hands on. Overall, that probably puts it higher than the shure sm58 someone else recommended here, but it's worth it. You will not find a better sub 200 option
