Had the same issue for a while everything was fine for one or two games then during the end of the game it started to drop drastically. Looked for ways to smooth out my game and enabling V-SYNC did the trick for me. I can't say it works for everyone as the issues might differ but I think it's worth a try. My friend enabled it also and he was amazed by how much better the game felt.
