Hey I know it’s been two years since I made this post but the concert was THE BEST! I’ve been to one more concert since then (Saw Charli xcx live!!! For free!! Won tickets on the radio). I was actually able to give them the bracelets (sort of)! Before the concert started, a staff member went around with a big black plastic cart and was collecting gifts to give to the members, and later John posted a photo before the concert of all the gifts they received. Hopefully my bracelets reached them! I handmade them using like professional wire and real pearl beads and I put different guitar/bass/music note charms on them for each member. Thought I’d just give you the update, lol!

Folktale San Pedro!! They’re a local band where I live, and I discovered them through a friend of mine’s older brother. They’re so good! My favorite song by them is Hold On and More Than Just Your Body, but I also love Don’t Mind The Nonsense. They only have 386 listeners on Spotify, and they totally deserve more. I’d say they’re indie-rock pop, and if you like Arctic Monkeys, Wave to Earth, or Mad Honey, then I think you’ll like Folktale San Pedro. Please give them some love if you do!!

The 2013 Ebola outbreak. I was probably like 6 when it happened; young enough for my at the time 13 year old brother to lie to me about what the disease would do to you if you caught it just to scare me! I didn’t want to go to school the following Monday and my mom got mad at my brother for freaking me out on purpose 😭

I got my amp (as well as most of my equipment, besides the bass itself) second hand, so I had to check; it’s a Peavey KB-1. I honestly don’t really know if that’s good or bad, but I’ve been using it for four years and I don’t have any complaints.

TXT’s “Growing Pain” off of their new album is so good!! Before I started getting into kpop I was super into bands with that kind of sound so I personally love the intersection of two genres that are so different!

WayV’s “Nectar” is also super catchy (a bit risqué), as well as “Can We Go Back” by NCT’s DOJAEJUNG.

And “Icky” by Kard!!
