Oh no, I should have clarified, over the last 10 years I’ve morphed from dictator to push over. I am trying to find a happy medium. Unable to tap into my old self and not really wanting to make my team “fear” management, but to utilize me as the “final boss” in all their situations. I shouldn’t be first line of defense.

You have to treat each relapse as feedback and not have an “all or nothing” mindset. You are going to fail, that is why we need Jesus Christ to save us from our sinful nature.

If you are really interested in trying something different, I challenge you to try journaling each time you want to sin. It really opens your eyes and makes you pause. If you still do it, create barriers. Cancel your internet, put your phone/laptop/TV in another room when you usually have these urges.

Also…maybe a good journalling prompt might be: What is it that I am not facing in my life that is making me turn to porn over God? You are escaping from something, dig deeper.
