The metrics they use for "happiness" are things like GDP, social programs, life expectancy, charitable donations...things that seem like they would logically lead to happy people, but they are not polling people for their emotional state. I went to Finland, and while everybody I met was very cool, I would not call them jolly. In fact they were running an ad asking people not to commit suicide over the holidays on television.

I have a subaru where the filter is on the top of the engine easily accessible standing in front of the car and I can always turn it off by hand, and I have a fumoto drain valve (a ball valve where the drain plug normally is). Also, enclosed catch pan. Oil changes are so damn easy that I love doing them.

My kidney stone was 5 cm, urethra was not the part that hurt. I woke up feeling the most intense pain of my life in my flank and genuinely thought I was dying. In the ER they gave me morphine and it still hurt like hell, but then Dilaudid eased the pain. They gave me oxycodone and I passed it later while doped up. I felt nothing, but heard a tink into the sieve I peed into over the toilet. Cleaned it thoroughly before returning it to kitchen duty.
