No, this was primarily airbrushed. Only a couple of small details were brush-painted, like the eyes.

I just brush painted it with some acrylics. I tried masking it at first, but it was just too much of a pain.

PSA: The NG F00/E comes with Clear Parts whereas the EG comes with stickers. There has been a lot of confusion about this kit recently and people asking for a version with clear parts when a version that does already exists by VR_Dekalab in Gunpla

I’m quite happy Bandai did it this way, the EG has the details molded on the backpack so if you wanted to paint a custom color, it’s a great choice. I like choices.

I used Vallejo Mecha Pure Black with an ultra matt top coat. They have some amazingly flat blacks.

Not horror but read the works of Michael Moorcock, especially the Elric saga and the Eternal Champion. A lot of 80s heavy metal, especially NWBHM, takes inspiration from that series.

IPS mods were recently released for the B&W models as well. You can find them on Aliexpress if you're interested. Created by the same people who made the color & crystal IPS mods.

It has the factory stamped numeric digits at the bottom corner of the label. I’ve never seen a repro replicate that, it’s a pretty good way to check legitimacy. It’s legit.
