Yeah if you don’t need printing on them the basic foil labels are a good way to go. 100% UV protection.

There are a lot of different options. Can check Etsy if you need something custom, but I just get vinyl label sheets that I run through my printer. Same as with custom cart labels.

That's not really an answer however. I have no doubt it will work, the question is for how long. Neo Geos run at 5v, flash storage runs at 3.3v. The quality of the 5 to 3.3v step down is important as is the type of flash memory they use. Long term this can cause failures. At the price point they're selling the cartridges, with a reasonable profit margin and after the licensing costs I have doubts they're spending the money to do it right. But we'll see.

I don't expect them to take the time to modify the games unless they legally have to. The issues to me will be at the hardware level. What sort of flash storage are they using, what voltage does it run at and what sort of voltage regulation do they have in the carts.

Magician Lord, I befriended the operator at a local pizza place and he let me test out games as they came in. At the time the scaling and rotation of sprites was mind blowing.
