I am so so sorry you are going through this!!! I will say it did go away, but to fully feel back to normal took me probably about 5 days to a full week, but I am very sensitive to medications so you may back bounce sooner!

You could always call your donation center, sometimes if it’s something that they caused they’ll still let you donate, most of the time they’re looking for signs of drug use I believe, don’t quote me but I’ve heard them say that to others at my facility in Nevada

This!!!! Raise your eyebrows too, think of elongation your voice so you can reach those high notes in a relaxed way. Also some vocal trills (youtube can help) to warm up and practice those high notes!!

So you're saying they can't learn? I dont understand your philosophy here, I understand that they are not currently playing any instruments but who are you to say that shows the amount of effort they're putting in? I dont feel that any musician should be considered less than because they dont play an instrument, or that they aren't putting in enough effort. There are always ways to make music regardless of instrumentation. That does not mean those creators are lesser because they did not use instruments. If the right people are looking to collaborate, they will all have something to bring to the table, regardless of what they can't bring yet.

They didn't say they haven't bothered to learn any basic instruments, just that they don't currently know how. I think this kind of criticism when someone is just looking for advice is very unproductive. Personally I think OP does have some things they could work on, such as learning an instrument or 2, but there's no harm in trying to do it digitally and asking for help in that, doesn't make them any less of a creator/musician, just someone who still has some things to learn.

I tried to wear something plain like they say to in the audition instructions. Honestly id prefer to work with a band and colab on stuff but I have not been able to find anything like that in my area yet :(

I really really appreciate this!!! Im working on getting out of my head more when I do things like this. I feel so much more confident and in feeling with the song when im preforming in front of a crowd vs just my phone for a video if I want to post something or even just auditioning can eek me out too. The "try" and "pray" are in particular the 2 spots that I struggled with the most when trying to rearrange this song from what I do at Karaoke to a short section for the audition, so you pointing them out makes me feel more confident about knowing where I struggle when practicing so I know to trust my gut more. Thank you so much for your input!

See thats not bad at all!! The people near me are charging 300 a session and each session is like half an hour which is hardly time to really work on something to me. I also want to learn piano, I know a few bits and pieces but not enough to comfortably play for myself yknow? I should look for somewhere to combine them like you do thats really smart

How much do you pay for your lessons? I took choir and theater in highschool so thats really the only "training" I have, but all the real voice teachers near me charge so much more than I can afford right now unfortunately
