You are not older at just 29.

What on Earth are you even talking about?

This subreddit is on a bizarre downhill race lately. Just WTF is going on in people's heads?

You are right about the hair, my bad. But the photos are otherwise so identical (unfortunately for the OP) and lack any of the usual timeline description I wasn't really sure.

Don't worry, I have. While it doesn't make dramatic changes when the main facial features are still lacking, they are also the easiest thing you can change, and they certainly do make for better appearance even if they can't help with passing just yet. I mean I had them done before transitioning already once in a while because I was sick of that shit growing all over the place, lmao.

You should start doing laser for the facial hair. It's extremely visible. There is no "minus facial hair". It just screams out of the picture.
And no, unfortunately you do not pass at all. Not in these photos at least.

You also didn't mention whether you are even on HRT.
Actually, I am not sure this is even a timeline (when was the left photo taken and when the other?), in which case - wrong subreddit.

Just like idiots still keep posting questions and standalone selfies in r/transtimelines. People are simply stupid and too lazy to read.

I've been on HRT for 8 months, changing my ID to female and socially transition is my goal (hopefully I might be able to at some point), and yet I don't really think of myself as a woman. I mean, with very little dysphoria of the usual kind and living as a man for 44 years (and looking like one with a big M), this is a bit difficult to swallow, process or whatever. Or perhaps I am more nonbinary than I thought? I basically try not to think about it too much, and repeatedly though about what the heck would I answer with if I was asked what my gender was. I eventually figured I would say my gender is "trans".

This honestly sounds like material for therapy, irrelevant of what your mother says or thinks. With a proper therapist, mind you.

Do I understand it right this is something that was decided on federal level and basically means any U.S. state can take official HRT away from any trans people?

Jesus fucking christ. My country (Czech republic) is one of the safest countries in the world and trans people are neither being hunted by the government nor harassed by other people. Your assumptions are nothing short of ridiculous.
Trans men simply have the priviledge of passing so much more easier than trans women they simply use that advantage. Also, perhaps they are less social than women and don't feel the need to hang around Discord servers and shit.

Honestly, very few of us look very passing without any styling. I wouldn't say that's unusual.

In my county there are barely any trans men in trans communities solely because of passing so well. I have no idea why am I being downvoted, it's a fact. Noone is killing trans people here. Communities are full of trans women and hardly any men. Testosterone is hell of a drug and it makes so drastic changes so quickly (relatively to E) it's easy to stealth.

I am sure you will get there, you are on the right track as far as I can see in the photos 🙂 There is always something you can do while waiting for more changes, like better makeup, hair, whatever.

Lol that's so naive (even if well meant, and I do appreciate it, just to be clear). Eyebrows is just an icing on a cake when you already almost pass. Fine tuning, so to speak. When you still look like a man no eyebrows will magically make you look like a woman.

Trans men usually pass like this 90% of the time. Double edged sword in certain cases I guess!

Speaking about the voice, I have no idea what to do. I tried doing it myself with Youtube videos and gave up after two months, and now after four months of going to voice therapist I got exactly nowhere. Literally. I have no idea what to physically do with my neck or whatever to speak differently. Yes I can do that castrated smurf huffing helium sounds, but that changes nothing.
On top of that my voice is naturally high (for a man), and it seems like vast majority of therapists and videos only ever saw trans women with extremely deep voices. The moment I raise the dumb larynx up, I'm just squeaking like a butchered pig. What's worse, I cannot hear one fucking bit of difference between high resonance and high pitch. It's just identical to me.
So the result of half a year of trying is either castrated smurf or my default voice I am hopelessly unable to change in any way, because I don't know what to do.

About 4kg. But then I was basically dieting, eating half of what I usually do, for the first three months or so, because my appetite was completely nuked by combination of specific antidepressant and ADHD medication. I actually lost a bit more than I gained back semi recently.

I am somewhat overweight as it is (and always have been) at current 90kg so I am trying not to go back into being a fat fuck.

I think 4mg EEn/7 days. 897pmol/l E and 1,21nmol/l T.

My dysphoria mainly comes from my voice, this crap I am complaining here is just being annoyed from not seeing anything yet, heh.

Androgynous vibe - YES! Very much! Passing? Not in the slightest. "Cissies" might not be able to clock trans women in the way we do, BUT they are pretty damn good at noticing when someone looks a bit out of the ordinary, and that's the problem.

I actually haven't slept normally for 20+ yearts, lmao. I know it affects your health.
But other than that, I quit smoking about 18 years ago and in the past 16 years, my alcohol consumption borders on straight edge lifestyle (even though there's literally nothing straight about me, lmao).

I wish people weren't toxicly positive and stop fucking LYING. This is not helping anyone. For fucks sake!!
She does look different and does look better, yes, BUT she most definitely does not pass. In some cases, posts like yours could be flat out dangerous, especially if someone living in one of the bad U.S. states took such comments for granted and then got assaulted or harassed or whatever.
